In terms of consistency, BPB 8 is off the charts with the front pin. I actually find the back pin  easier. :-)

    Oakmont #8 - without a doubt.

    borntobesting:

RSG #11 due to the length alone.  Oakmont # 8 @299 even downhill takes a good shot with a driver to get close and RSG #11 with a heavy headwind can also require a choked driver. And the green there being two levels makes it very difficult if you come up short.

    +1

I have to agree with borntobesting - RSG 11 is probably the hardest hole to birdie for me but due to lots of practice I can usually scramble up a par.

Try messing with a driver punch. Against the wind it rolls nice, right up the gut.  :-)

Thx again YJ, once again invaluable advice.  Also can get a nice bounce in from the right if you happen to whiff it a bit, lol.

oakmount 15-backspin there lets me practice  my chipshots and pitches and is instrumental in adding to the bogey acquired list.

st andies 17-go in with a good score come out with tourettes and looking for a mental health center (when the pin is to the far left.) ((makes me want to aim for a car on next hole))

RSG 9- that ridge the pin sits on can be a bugger especially if over shot from left to right

Congressional 2>? the par 5 with the pond gaurding the lower right of green. Makes me in favor of a ball retriever to be added in pro shop

theres a couple more too but cant name them right off the top of my noodle

pretty much any of them that involves putting  hehehe

I believe that is due to the way the front of the green is surrounded by the trees more. There are less trees surrounding the back portion of the green making your shots more consistent. I have found that using a slight amount of topspin rather than backspin really helps on the front pin there.
