l think you should change the reviews before you recommend these, out of five reviews three aint great.

Saying that, l use the level 90 R11's and cant fault them!!

    WGTicon:

    I would go with these.

Precious and spin are second to none.

all great advice !! it all depends on your credits. go for a distance driver drop the hybrid and get three wedges. good wedges and mediocre balls will really improve anybody's game !!

at your lvl I went from starters to the K15 set and 3 Ping 200cr wedges - all said they were less expensive than the Taylor option and were very enjoyable to play - Worked out great and made TM with them.  I tiered up pretty quick however and when I was finally able to level wise, I upgraded to the G20s.   Very forgiving clubs and will take you into the game a little farther.  btw you might want to think about a putter - I went with the ghost at lvl 34 (i think) - and for me that changed everything (I just couldnt putt with the starter - at all).

    Good luck!

I just bought the L 48 2010 Raptures. They gave me and extra 5 yrds, slowed down the meter (I was using the G10) and because I was getting frustrated at mishits going too far offline. I needed the forgiveness. I too have the Ping wedges @ 200cr. Big difference over the starter stuff. I am also using the rapture Driver and 3 wood. I will eventually upgrade the driver for distance but I like the way i am set up right now. I hav the Ghost Spyder outter and it made a huge difference right off the bat, but I'll tell you what, the Tournament speed greens and hard pin placement will be the death of me! Practice practice practice.

My nickles worth is save the money on balls and clubs wait a bit and get the best driver you can, use the starter clubs/balls. They work just fine, I did that until making master.

Obviously it depends on how much you have to spend, but if I were you I'd prioritise as follows:

    1. Three Cleveland CG 16 wedges, 56 / 60 and 64 degrees. Will vastly improve around the green. Drop the hybrid.

    2. WGT Tour Pro 9.5 driver, the caddy says 245 yards but it's high trajectory and will go a lot further if you learn how to use it. I still use it now and I'll keep using it until I get to L90 for the R11S.

    3. Ping K15 3W, again it will last you to Master so a decent investment.

Once you have them you will improve considerably and your starter clubs will do until you amass the credits / experience for the better clubs.

Here's my road to the right clubs. If you intend to play the high (>75) level clubs someday I would suggest going the same road.... starting with the Pro Full Set (Pro+). With their high trajectory and faster meter they are the best preparation for the top shelve clubs.

Once the R11s was available at lvl 90. Now it's 94.
