    alanti:

As I do not intend to play or participate in the forums often, I will ask if anyone wants to take ownership of the updates and I can email them the word document.

    Cheers.Alan

Shame you feel that way, but sadly you are not alone. Fact is though WGT have everything, and it should not take one of us to collate things the way you have kindly been doing......................Personally your efforts are very appreciated, just hard to be glass half full with WGT at the moment.

Haven't read through all the comments here but just wanted to add another vote for WGT to add the "ability to swap out Irons for other clubs."

It'd be quite useful to swap the PW for one of the Cleveland wedges.

Would it be possible to make the choices of the caddy a little bit more sensible? I don't think that it is a coincidence that we are often offered a driver on a par 3 hole where a 3 wood or even a 3 iron would be a better choice. Of course if you forget to change clubs it's out of bounds and another expensive ball is gone.

One thing I want to see is when I choose my status as hidden why is my status constantly changing to busy? If I had wanted busy I would have chosen it myself!

Revert back to Tier based clubs rather than levels

This makes perfect sense imo or at least make there a lower level requirement for those at a highier tier. I also think ALL clubs should have a tier requirement.

Getting to master at level 40 and then Legend at 70 completely shafted me. Time and again even hitting the ding off the Tee I was in the rough or the sand because I simply could not hit far enough - there were no clubs available (at that time)  that would have solved the problems.

There are clubs now which have low level requirements but are still causing problems. In skins I have seen Amateurs starting 150yards ahead of me with the R1 275 yrd driver.

It is ridiuclous. There is no way in a million years an Amateur needs that sort of distance. Master should be absolute minimum requirement for clubs like that - it enough distance for the Legend tee.

CC Tournaments setting: Maximum  equipment level

Let's face it, this game was more fun when the ball was rolling on the green. The new balls and clubs has turned the game into target shooting, into a perverted form of darts. I have created a CC called "Level 42" in which I intend to run tournaments where only equipment at available at level 42 and below is allowed and it would be nice to be able to enforce that by setting that option in the tournament setup.

There could be regular tournaments using that setting as well. How about a starter gear tourny?

It would allow you to sell more clubs, WGT, most of us have sold our newbie equipment!

After 5 months and 25 pages this is still going.

The one thing that seemed to be agreed upon by everyone, including WGT, was that having a user group of 5 to 10 people was a good idea and something that could be very easily done.

I understand everyone wanting to have input, however there is a lot of things that have been suggested and asked for that (in my opinion) many of us don't want or care about and would much prefer WGT to pass on while they work on more important things.  That is where the user group would be helpful.

Player A might want more sounds while player B might not even use the sound.  If we keep making lists that never get a consensus we are just wasting time.  Having a group that puts forth ideas that are agreed upon before WGT even looks at them seems to make much more sense.  For example one comment was single balls in the pro shop, do we really need that, should that be on the list of important things...I doubt it but if the user group thinks so then put it forth.

I don't want a single person talking for me, however if we have a user group whose names are known and we can discuss with them, then I have no issue with it.

Well, a group of "user representatives" would be good, but still useless if WGT does not listen. If they do not talk. One of the mods might take part early in a discussion, then he disappears without a word. Discussion continues for months, but WGT are no longer listening. There is so much potential in this game, so many good ideas from the users, but they don't care. I hope they get some competition soon.

i believe good competition is inevitable .. perhaps WGT knows this & perhaps they aren't in it for the long haul ..

i've had my own direct contact with one of the mods & it seems that with me it is the same as with anyone else, that is "interesting ideas" .. followed by silence

IF  wgt has their mind set on long term, which i now doubt, then their strategy has less chance of success than me growing a 2nd a-hole ..

their persistent lack of feedback & community interaction will ultimately be their downfall ..

then again, perhaps the regular posters here represent less than 0.1% of overall activity in which case plebs like urselves don't matter a damn ..
