the first thing u have to do is to to stick to 1 putter 2 much chopping changing is not good buy 1 you like then learn it.reading greens comes with practice when im on big breaking putts i move arrow and miss ding on purpose depending on which way green is breaking.

There are 7 green speeds. First make sure that you know which one you on. As you move up through the green speeds you need to allow for more break as the ball will be travelling more slowly. When practicing start by aiming above the hole then gradually work towards it. Keeping notes and making up your own scale is a good idea too. I hope this helps.

Wow, take a breath C, that's the longest response I've seen you give......last time the question was asked I think your response was..To paraphrase 'I did that in 10 mins and it wasn't difficult to learn them all'....

You then got a "because you're so smart" answer from someone.. who thought he was....

God I hate / love this prodigious memory..I don't even need to look back and see if I was correct.....My recall is rarely wrong .

EG: "Avoid like the plague"   :))

Hi JB, we all go through slumps especially with the putter - so stick to the same putter, don;t blame the tools.

I am sure you understand the green speed as you have been a legend for long enough. Personally I like my own putter pal, it may not look great but works most of the time, well some of the time lol but worth while if speed is an issue.

When I putt poorly there is one reason and one reason alone and that is ball placement on the green. Make sure you know what spot to play to, being 6 feet away and having a 3 inch downhill breaking putt is harder than a 15 footer uphill. If you don't know the green use the chip mode and zoom in to find what part of the green to avoid rather than just trying to get close. The best thing each time you play a hole take notes of where you landed, the line the break and no nos for that green.

All I can say is enjoy the game and if you miss a putt, work out why and take notes to avoid the same putt next time around.
