Cap- depending on where you live in the U.S. it isn't outrageously difficult if you have a lot of patience and a pretty thick skin.

The carousel and sometimes extra videos below it are cashed for an average of 7 - 30 credits a day. SocialVibe provides the videos above the carousel directly for 4-5 credits each. This month here in southern California I've been fortunate enough to get SocialVibe videos to the tune of 100 to 300 credits daily for about 1 to 1.5 hours time. I just click on them with the sound turned down while talking with my wife when she comes home from work and the kids are in bed. Add a few 5 credit survey rejections from Peanut Labs. Occasionally a full payoff from a survey completed, usually 60-140 credits every 2 or 3 days.

Very few people around the world get the opportunity to earn credits like we do here. Even some areas of the U.S. don't get them like we do here in California. After all, WGT is a California company with some "California only" advertisers.

For the geographically lucky ones who fit the right survey demographics 100-350 credits is attainable for 1-2 hours effort a day. It helps those of us not in a position to put our own money into the game. I deduct the credit seeking time from my game play time; as a result I often play only 1 hole a day.

The volume of offers fluctuates with time of the month and time of the year. It's a good idea to go after them and bank them for those periods of time when they dry up on us.

True statement there! I live in PA. and this month alone I have gained over 5000 credits from the aforementioned programs. I fire up WGT in the morning, and make my coffee and grab the newspaper. With volume on low, I proceed to read as the videos play. Glancing up when it it quiet, i play more vids. On other offers I play 4,5 or more at the same time whilst still reading my paper. On the carousel I start Social Vibe video, return to carousel and play vids on top and more vids below at the same time. Usually have 100 credits by the time I finish my paper. Returning to the offers every hour or so will produce additional credits through out the day. I never spend more than 1 hour a day to achieve my credits. I have sponsored many golf tournaments in my CC this way, at no cost to me.

    Hi CapHandy36.

Srellim234 is correct. It's a mix of videos and surveys. The videos pull in  20 -30 credits a day which take about 20 minute to run. Whether or not you have sound turned up or do something else whilst they're running is entirly up to you.

I personally average a survey a day. Some days I'll pick up three, others none at all. To get the most surveys I think you need to be from a certain demographic. Being male helps (I think), married with children certainly, and being a relatively high earner. These factors are reflected in your personal profile. Which can be edited once every three months. Once you've been offered the survey you have to try and think what the survey itself is after. Whatever the first question is the answer's yes. I'm not advocating lying of course. That's up to the individual.

I think the one question though is whether it's all worth it. If it takes me half an hour to earn a hundred credits (on average) that works out as an hourly rate of two dollars an hour. Which is fine if you're doing something else at the time, but otherwise isn't exctly a great rate of pay.

Thanks srellim234 and bigdaddie1 , that is great information. Don't you have to actually sign up for things though like credit cards and other stuff? I tried watching a video once and at the end I had to actually apply for it , so I left without doing anything , do you still get the credits if you don't sign up?

No sign up is necessary for anything. In fact, I"ve never even given my email out. No credit card, either. About three years ago I did sign up with MyView surveys but I've since quit pursuing those.

On the "Earn Free Credits" page I do it all through the "Take Surveys" and "Watch Videos" tabs. I don't bother with the "Complete Offers" or "More Offers"

If a survey or video asks for any personal identification (email, address, name) I walk away from it. No legitimate survey will ever ask for that information. Don't be gullible enough to give it to the illegitimate ones. As for not getting credits if you don't sign up, I'm willing to bypass those credits if need be. Sometimes you still get the credit; sometimes you don't.

For those who aren't aware of it, sometimes you can get extra views below the carousel even if they aren't there initially.  Here's the trick that sometimes frees up additional videos for views.

    1. Click on the "Watch videos" tab, displaying the carousel.

    2. Click on the gray box below the courousel that says "Watch this video and get 5 view(s)!"

    3. When it displays "There are no videos at this time" click on "Skip".

    4. Click "OK" in the pop-up confirmation box.

    5. That returns you to the carousel. Sometimes it changes the box below the carousel to read "Watch these videos to earn more view(s)!",  freeing up more videos if there are any there.

BTW, I use Google Chrome as my browser to view the videos. I use Safari to actually play the golf game.

srellim234 thanks for that terrific information it was extremely helpful. Also the part about using Chrome as well as Safari was helpful too . I have a Mac and was thinking about installing Chrome just to use for WGT

    Welcome,

I've been here a couple of years and have not spent any real money.  In my opinion, I recommend a hybrid wood.  I use it to get out of the rough, and I'm in there a lot.

Regardless of which clubs and balls you decide to use, you must learn how to use them.  This is true for the clubs you currently have in your bag.  I use the avatar movement method to judge the distance on my shots.  I found this easier to use than the percentage method.  Either way you need to know how far each club will go.  For me, I made a chart of avatar movements vs distance.  This allows me to easily determine the distance the shot will go.  I did this for all clubs in my bag.  Of course this simple chart does not take into account the wind or elevation and that is left for my "feel" of the shot.

Main thing is for you to learn your clubs, then you can work on where to hit the shot.

As far as consistent sub-par rounds, putting is the most important part.  Again it doesn't really matter which putter to use, as long as you learn how to use it.

Of course this is just one persons opinion.  If you haven't already done so, check the forums for putting tips.  There are several great ones with very helpful information.  Granted they mostly deal w/distance but once you know how far to hit the putt, you can work more on remembering the breaks on each green.

    Have fun and good shooting.
