#13. 134yds and more vem than you can shake a stick at. I haven't had 1 shot go the distance i expected on that hole yet.

I disagree. Yardage and wind for me is spot on. I simply can't make nine foot putts or less on these greens.

There's only four or five holes that need to parred. The rest of the holes offer a birdie opportunity for Legend and Tour Legend players. That's a 55 or a 56 which should clinch a spot for the major.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful because you're clearly a better player than I am, I'm only calling it like I see it with this particular course.

    I just love this game! : )

I think the 5th is the hardest hole.....  Approach shot if short is off the green low...  chip up or whatever shot you use... If too long, then putt coming back can go off the green too

    15 is a tuff 1- managed a 29 on the front-with 2 hole-outs, 1 for birdie (5) and one for eagle (2)- still working out the back 9.

ahhh...great shot m8.... aim for right side of pin and let the ball run in towards the pin.

    thx for that.

I've notice in a few replays that the (not sure what it's called) above the hole pic is a green instead of the whole picture from tee to green.

is it more of an advantage to have this?

With a stiff 10 mph plus tailwind, go 120 full top, you'll get close

I don't think I've played more punched approaches at any other course, Merion is a real test

I just tried out the front 9 on champ greens and it's fair to say that it's a completely different ball game on certain holes.

The 5th green is the nightmare you'd expect, I actually feel the safest way to play the hole will be to deliberately miss it short and then pitch and putt for par. On the 6th I hit my approach 15 feet beyond the pin and subsequently experienced a rare L shaped putt, hitting it up the slope til it died and then watching it roll slowly down the slope at a right angle :)

Yes Champ speed is interesting on this course....lol

Probably everybody who makes the cut should be playing games on this speed now to get a look at how to play em.

#3 for me, no birdie there yet.  Can't seem to get the distance right - and wind effect is monstrous.
