Implement of anticheat software?

  Hey WGT, theres alot of talk about cheating in the game, how about implement some sort of anti-cheat software, simulair as to punkbuster or what not.

   

  Theres gotta be something that you can do to get rid of people how uses this kinda meter-programs?

   

  How are you working towards this issue?

  Sadly I'm afraid they don't care, they're just raking in the money until this game fails, which is very soon imo

  No, they don't, but at least the have measures in place to catch them.

  WGT just need to wake up and use common sense, that alone, will go a long way to catching some of them. Just as in Chess sites, cheaters aren't necessarily caught by detecting software, but rather by the moves they make in games. The game picks up "non human" type moves, and if there are too many of these moves then they are banned. WGT could start to do something very similar by just looking at a players stats, if they know what to look for.

  absolutely PB, a chess move can be analysed very quickly, and if it shows there are 10000's of combinations or eventualities from ur move and u pick the best one, then u are undoubdtedly using a cheat engine.

  They have a percentage rating for each move, and if u are constantly hitting the top 3 moves in any position then u are cheating, no question.

  A Grand Master can only manage around 80% I believe, compared to a computer.

  Well said. If WGT banned these cheat players, they cant play at same level for level/tier system, or at less, not fast. Only they use multiaccounts they can do it and..they will be banned again. We need to recover spirit if real golf game when a player dont need a refereee to say that he made a penalty shot.

  Please WGT help us to continued to play this game normally.

  Exactly oneeye, and similar can be implemented here. A player does not all of a sudden start shooting near perfect rounds when his stats say otherwise. Yes, players improve, but the rate of improvement needs to be looked at.

  There is a player out there at the moment that was very average, but now seems to be shooting some of the best scores in all the tournies. I play with lots of top players and it's actually quite funny that they're all asking, what is going on with this guy. Surely WGT can see that this is going on. As I said players will improve, but either someone else is playing on this guys account or he has some help of another kind.

  To bring up chess again, it's like me being a 1600/1700 rating player for 2 years and suddenly winning all my games and shooting up to 2200 in a couple of months, it doesn't happen.

  The thing that gets me, ok ,unlimited, but nevertheless, a 25 around RSG back 9 is a hell of a score, and there are several of them. I can shoot 28, but I see no room for improvement.

  Where the hell is a 25 coming from. 10 under par

  8 birds and an eagle, which is just about perfection, yet there are more than 1 achieving it.

  With all the cheating talk these days, this scenario gets totally ignored. This is a bigger cheat than anything.
