       I just got through playing Congressional while also watching the AT&T National (now playing round one at Congressional) on pgatour.com Group Shot Tracker. I used the 3 click meter while playing.

     I like the 3 click swing meter. It slows down as it approaches the ding bar, and I've made more dings using it. I hope WGT keeps this meter available.

  l purchased the 93 R1 and have just played a MP comp with an opponent who had the R11s, to be honest it was very close, on some holes it was almost a dead heat, but there were a couple of holes where l did 'ding' the R1 and was maybe 4-5 yds in front. But and here's the but, l was using Nike level 70's, my opponent was using Callaways(z) i think.

  l got it simply because l'd only just made level 93, and was to impatient to wait the 3-4 months to reach 94.

  Maybe the juries still out!!

  Any positive feedback on the performance of the R1 L93?  I'm halfway through level 96 and figure it will take me 10 months to get to L98 so this could be a good thing for me if indeed the club performs as expected.

  I was thinking it odd to have an update the last week of June rather than next week.  Also thought hmmm...the R1 will give a big boost to the June revenue I wonder if they need it?...but then I thought next week has the July 4th holiday in the US so that's why the update was done now..but who knows....

  Ok, I tried the new meters.

  Vertical: Not good that it follows the avatar around the screen.  Fixed location would be better.  Grab it mid screen and your cursor can move off the window so learn to grab it on the bottom. Unlike others, it did seem smoother to me on FireFox.  I like the experiment of using a solid color (no gradient) on the meter.  That was suggested by TightRope as a meter stutter improvement.  Maybe that's why it's smoother?

  3-Click: Not good for those who use avatar moves or those who use maximum scales on putting.  Also, meter backswing is very, very fast down in the 10 to 20% range and will make those short breaking putts in the 2 to 4 ft range overly difficult to get the speed right.

  Original: Delete the word Original...we can tell.    (in fact remove the word from all of them)

  Make the enhancements suggested by members, keep them as options and we'll choose the one we like.  If you keep them as options then consider adding Meter Type as an option in game/CC tournament setups.

  If in an experimental mood WGT, remove the gradient from the Original meter.  And while your at it, release the fix that removed the Friends List Updates during our turn to hit.  Let us see if it helps stop meter stutters and jumps.

  Btw I can take anything you want to throw this way. However, the other chap is an elderly (he won't thank me) retired US. marine that,  since serving his country so well, has seen his health deteriorate in recent times. I'd thank you to keep him out of any grievance you may feel you have with myself.

  Bearing in mind you recently used Albert Einstein's 'Insanity' quote in a comment, the constant need to insert expletives into just about every post really is laughable.

  Between this latest stunt  and the previous threat of violence on these very forums I'm thinking you've friends in high places on here -  others have been banned for less.

  Way too funny.

  Bad WGT (spanks w/ wad of newspaper)...

   

  Really hate to complain because I do like the game a lot. So much so that I was finally getting over juust missing out on the R11s switch, & now this "for a limited time only," just out of reach L93 driver exacerbates the situation like a recurring nightmare.

  At least the disappearing club is announced this time, even if vaguely, but once again it appears that the L93 driver will disappear just about the time many of us in the L91 to low L92 range that missed out on the R11s would qualify for the R1 L93... Unless maybe we pay $240 for 2 months of the super ultra XP booster and/or play about 5+ rounds of 18 a day.

  Please have mercy & move the L93 R1 to L92 or L91 so we can give you money.

  At least the CC changes truly sound like a winner. WGT gets two Scooby snacks for that as I know a lot of folks in our CC have been begging for tiered tourneys. In fact we just finished reorganizing into a new CC because people kept joining out-of-tier tourney's they weren't supposed to.

  Why change a habit ?..For a poor 'auld' vet he seems pretty chipper to me....if not in the brain dept, then at least....

  So you've been shot at and done your country justice does that then mean you should be then forgiven all else ?

  The Vets I know would have more about them and certainly wouldn't need a whippersnapper like you fighting their battles ?
