  Dough, I can see the only difference between the Taylor Made R1 Super TP8 Black (level 93) and the Taylor Made R1 Super TP8  White, (level 98) is the bloody price!...am I right?

  No, 5 bucks more because you can buy it at a lower level.  Hear that it takes forever to level up once you get to the 90's...

  Personally, I bought it as soon as I found out it was accessible to me. I can see why people might baulk at the price but

  a) it's limited edition black

  b) it'll be next year before I reach level 98 for the white one

  c) I've amassed loads of credits via watching videos over the years, exactly for this reason

  Im about 9 days from level 92.......How do we know what a limited time is?.....as far as price goes, its a bargain just for the 5 level ( what 2 years?) in time discount....Black?...who cares Id play with a pink po-ka-dot diver if it goes 287.....

  Slightly off topic...

  But I was surprised to see when Taylormade decided to make a black R1. Since the R11 they have done research and have found that a white Driver head "appears" bigger and as such, apparently easier to hit as you trick yourself into thinking there's more clubhead there.

  Unfortunately for me though, level 93 seems just as far away as level 98. But it nice to see that good equipment is available to more players on here.
