  it should not be offered at all until level 98,  just think a master at  level 93 can get it.

  its getting to much about money and have been, they are really screwing this game up  . we had to wait ,why not everyone else.

  Agree Harry, although it ought to be available only for Tour Legends no matter what level they are, so, it should not be available to me either.

  WGT will generate a ton of sales from this -so I understand their motives. A lot of players simply never get to Level 98 (or not anytime soon-lol). Lots do however get to level 93. 

  I have played against many players with the R1 and have seen relatively few instances where it has offered a clear advantage over the R11S if i ding mine. In some instances, I can outdrive the R1- =even with Nikes vs my Max meter balls - both dinged. In fact blew by one yesterday by about 20 yards-lol (caught the slope just right).

  The R1 high/med trajectory offers advantages and disadvantages to the R11S high trajectory. Especially, into the wind. It can indeed boom by any other club at times. It IS more forgiving (although the R11S is miles easier to hit than the original R11). It DOES have a slower meter. Therein lies the rub- A 3rd meter speed vs 3 wood and irons. 

  Like a lot of things in life, there are always trade-offs. Already some have bemoaned the R1 Black as 'not as good as their R11S'-which is neither true nor untrue-in the eye of the beholder-so-to -speak. Either stick will do just fine-much ado about not that much at the end of the day.

  I really like the R1 black driver and I'm glad WGT introduced it at level 93. I needed 70,000 XPs to get the R1 white driver, so I'm unable to make a comparison between the two R1s.

  However, the R1 black driver compared to the R11S is like night and day when you talk about precision, forgiveness, and length. The R1 black driver is long and straight. Even on slightly miss dinged shots.

  In the end, the R1 black driver is worth the extra money. Especially if a player is at a high level 92 or under level 98.

  The new R1 drivers in any color are going to lower a players stats across the board.

  Got to agree with Richard because of the time that takes to level up 5 times...at legend level it is a bloody eternity!!.

  I insist, the tool ought to be only available to Tour Legend players no matter what level they are.

  WGT need more sales then caring about Masters being called sandbaggers....unfortunately.

  I was only a few weeks from level 94 and the R11s and an eternity from level 98 and the white R1 , to me it was a no brainer to get the black R1 , so far so good , brilliant upgrade and I can see this been a fantastic purchase.

  What bothers me now is , what WGT meant by new clubs from other manufacturers coming soon

  I bought the new R1 Black driver but I cannot use and I am at level 97.  It shows it in my collection and when I put it in my bag and try to play it goes back to the R11.  WGT, what gives????????

  Change the settings on your bag the setting you have now is saving the r11
