If you're playing for fun only...make an announce/post  asking for MP players who want a 60 sec timer and get a game set up.

Or just set one yourself with a timer you prefer.

Just my opinion, but I don't think there's too many using "SW" in a non-credit game.

Already the other players have replied to u with right arguments. I can tell that I'm 60 and I need time for playing the best possible and, frankly speaking i found just only one player in 2 years asking the same thing than you. All the others play 90 secs in MP and Alternate.

Anyway, u could suggest WGT to establish tournaments stroke or mp with 30 secs clock. There should be something like chess flash game. Bye

Mike, your post REALLY begs a question, "If your time is do d a r n e d valuable - why are you playing here?"

    Chill man, this is supposed to be fun for all involved  ; - }

CLUE - Don't enter unless the terms are to your liking!

But be advised, It takes a little longer for the 'Senior Citizens' to think before we execute a shot!

Uuhh - on second thought, just wait a few years, then you'll understand -----

In general 90 seconds is too long.  But there are situations that require more than 60 seconds.  That's what the 90 is for.  But nobody should use up the 90 seconds on every shot.

I think I played behind some of those guys on the real golf course today....  ugggh!

My time is so darned valuable because I don't have 3 hours to waste on one match.  If you do or anyone else does, more power to ya.

I've seen some good feedback though.  One thing I wish they'd have is a differentiation system like they have with rankings (pro +, master +, etc.).  If they had <90, or <60, or >30, at least it'd help people avoid the extreme clocks on either side.

Also, if I never entered unless the "terms were to my liking", I'd be hopping around like a frog.

Gotta learn it someplace. Calling it out because of a few long shots might be an issue, though. If I took 90 seconds on a couple of shots and somebody called me a cheater I might be inclined to bust the guy's chops the rest of the match and take all the time, every shot.  :-)

If your not playing for credits , just drop the game ffs, it's that easy. Some people IMOP wind the clock down just to get under your skin.

90 seconds is a long time to make a shot.   However I would not like to see the 90 second shot go by the wayside.   I have satellite internet and when suffering through a little interference from a thunderstorm or snow in the winter, I will get a poor response from my server.    I have hit the ball many times and waited 20 seconds for my avatar to move.   I have also hit reverse view and waited 20 seconds for it to kick in.

My drives are never more than a few seconds from the time my screen pops up and says it your turn.  However once again sometimes 15 seconds will roll off the clock before the ball gets launched.

There are players that will drive you nuts waiting for a minute before they hit a drive with no wind to try and compensate for.   They are the ones that go on my little list to stay away from in the future, and to be honest there aren't that many of them.

So I guess, what I'm saying is,   leave the 90 second clock.   If you don't like it,  well there are a few things we all don't like about this game but we are still playing and having fun.

I have no problems with 90 second games, but I mainly play with friends and this gives us plenty of time to "chat". That said, I would say usually I will play before 30 seconds is up, sometimes a little longer on the greens.

But we have the options of timers, if you don't like 90 seconds  don't play. If someone constantly is using the entire time, I would think it is gamesmanship so you will quit - personally I would never give someone that satisfaction.
