Non US Courses?

  The only thing I can figure is they are making lots of money with what they got, so why bother with anything new. Brandon Dunes Par 3 is not going to satisfy most of the members. I'm sure as hell not going to be wasting my balls on a par 3 coarse.

  Regarding TruGolf courses.......they (TruGolf) can take their seriously bad graphics and ram them up their crapper. I'm sure the course committees at Whistler & Cabo Del Sol puke violently when or if they see the ba*tardised job these numpties have made of what are fantastic & very beautiful scenic courses in real life.

  I'd rather pay to play HD courses than those TruGolf courses with graphics that look to have been knocked up in MS Paint by someone using a mouse with their foot.

  For me it's HD only. It's the reason I joined over 3 years ago and have never played any other online golf game because their graphics sucked. I bought Tiger Woods for the Wii a few years back and gave it away after a day cause the graphics sucked.

  Bandon Dunes, although it's gonna be a par 3 course, at least it's HD so has to be a plus....BUT WGT seriously need to check into the International Departure Lounge and go photograph another course outside of the USA. I'm not too bothered which course or which country. We already have 2 UK courses, so why not give another country a chance.

  There's a ton of Aussies on here, Italians too for that matter, so how about a course from Germany or Spain ? :)

  Personally I'd like to see Royal Melbourne on here...because that course has got everything to challenge peoples' game and I'd like to spank players like Briggs, Suncity & Alanti on their home turf :)

  WGT need to speculate to accumulate. Sure it'll cost a bit more to go out there BUT they've done it before with St Andrews & RSG for instance. I think more non US courses would be a huge attraction for players old and new...and they would only increase revenue for WGT..

  There are a ton of choices, and don't forget Asia where there are many great courses and a ever growing golf market.

  And lets face it, if they did go to Aus, Germany or Spain, at least they would get a nice cold beer at the end of the day!

  I happen to agree with the graphics, TruGolf are more like a 4 year old drew them at kindergarten and their teacher merged them in a powerpoint presentation, whereas the HD courses mean you can re-live actually playing the courses (excepton here I sign a better looking card).

  Some of those Asian courses would probably pick up most of the tab too. We all know how much money is flying around over there at the moment and $1million would be a drop in the ocean to them just to raise the profile of the Asian golf market.

  I agree, hence why I said there was a deal to be done.

  I lived in Asia for many years, and with the economic downturn some golf courses struggled and have yet to fully recover. The exposure this game would bring could be huge. not only for the course but for golf in this region (and not to mention tourism) ,

  Many in this region love golf but the game is considered "eliteist" and they cannot afford to play. But the growth of people taking up the sport in Asia is constantly rising. This game would open up a massive market for WGT, one which I don't think has been tapped anywhere near it's potential. Advertising in particular for this region is a lucrative area.

  Must be worth looking into IMO.

  I think you hit the nail on the head! Its unfortunate but WGT seems to have taken the attitude "if you don't like it leave". They have done very little lately that makes a lot of sense. Business 101 says your repeat customer is your best customer, but instead of improving this game and retaining their old customers, they have elected to invest in the Baseball Game letting this game go downhill. They have without a doubt the best golf game available, but for how long? Mr WGT should take a look at what happened to the recently replaced CEO of  JC Penny and realize what happens when you don't take care of your core customers.
