altering characteristics of  clubs/balls after they have been bought at least is near criminal if you ask me.

How did the announcement of a new ball turn into altering what you already have?

It didn't this time, though replacing a very popular ball with a slightly different version is near the same to me. Didn't they up the speed on the R11 irons somewhere along the way ?

Good stuff watching the hypocrites in here.  It is only ok to complain when it affects YOU right? This doesn't affect me, so good job WGT, piss em off!  lol

Well if that's your perception then I guess that's your reality. The fact is, Callaway no longer makes the Tour Series balls and if you find them now it's because they're in a close out bin. Given that Callaway is a major sponsor for WGT I'd think moving on in the product department to stay current with them is probably the smart move. I doubt the ball will change substantially but as a Callaway user I am concerned about what "similar" means. We'll see Thursday.

As for the R11's-I've had them since Day One and they are the same today as they were then. My perception.  ;-)

    LOL @ HD.  :-D

Callaway HEX Chrome and Callaway Hex Chrome+ balls.

    Hey WGT,

What about all those players that use a different browser?

Expect Ms. Fish to be on your case asap......

Ok, I guess I could be wrong on that one. Only echo-ing what I heard (I know that can be dangerous), for I don't owe them.

    bhoese:

Why discontinue the Tour series right away?  How about a month where both are available?

Even a week of overlap would be extremely helpful.

Agree so we could check the differences on them!

Well, If Calloway is such a BIG sponsor then why does wgt charge the real people who keep them operating???? That would be us, the players and payers????

So I cannot call WGT criminals

Ok, maybe I went a bit overboard right there, but altering characteristics of  clubs/balls after they have been bought at least is near criminal if you ask me. It's like buying a Ferrari and ending up with a Volkswagen Beetle...

Not a great car like Volklswagen is, but som crap like Lada!
