Hello all astronomers & stargazers,
Summer is near it's end and one of my favorite events is sitting outside late at night watching the Perseid Meteor shower. The tails on some of these meteors are so long it's like the universes version of Fourth of July!
Unfortunately my wife has never seen them before living in the big city (NY.) with all of it's light pollution. I was just outside with her (1:30 am eastern time) to see if we could catch a glimpse of the shower before retiring for the night; no such luck.
So how about anyone that has managed to take a picture of this magnificent event in the presence or past post them here. For all of us to admire.
