This is the first time I have been on the forum.  I have learned a great deal from reading this thread.

For  the record, my average is just over 72.  I don't play in anything but free tourneys and individual rounds since I am learning the game and am NOT a great gamer by any stretch of the imagination.   I had never considered quitting a game to be cheating, so now I will swallow my pride and finish when a game turns sour on me.

I can't imagine playing at the levels mentioned here, but I will be back on the forums, trying to learn from you guys.  Thanks for the education.

This all sounds good, and headed in the right direction....the question I have is this....all of the tournaments are won by the same group of players (low scorers) consistently...I don't even have the desire to try to compete in tournaments anymore...what about dividing the tournaments into to tiers as well (you already have pro tournaments but not any other level that I'm aware of) or introduce handicaps to help level the playing field in the tournaments....If the winning score is always 12-18 below par per round, what chance does anyone else have???? (ie the virtual tournament cut off scores should give you a hint),,,,after playing almost a year I keep seeing the same old names and the same old unbelievable low scores winning....please give the rest of us a break.

I believe, marbgd, that this is the entire purpose of this thread..to tell you of the new tiers and levels so the 'same old names' and their 'same old unbelievable scores' wont be in your way when you want to compete.

I'm guessing with my current average i'll most likely be placed at the Tour Pro level... just for reference, what are the levels of clubs WGT are planning to release relative to the ones we have currently?

There's some added information in the WGT pro shop sale page at the bottom that could answer some more questions about tiers, levels, and equipment.

I haven't been keeping track of this tread much so sorry if this has already been answered somewhere in the previous 14 pages...

Will the new 'Leveled' clubs react differently depending on the level (or tier) you have (similar to TW?)

So for example, if an amature and a master both own an R9 Master driver and the master has several additional level points in ?distance? (just a guess) will it perform better for the master?

In other words, will having higher level points make the same clubs perform better?

This would makes sense since having higher levels would indicate better skill and control with the clubs. An amature can buy and R9 Supertri but it aint gonna work much better in their hands than a 2nd hand club bought for $10. But the Pro can make the difference obvious.

    Apparently not.

Here's a suggestion...not sure if anyone mentioned it before:

a "Master" is (or should be) able to do more than a beginner/hack.  so how about when players reach certain levels you make more SHOTS available to them?  for example, when you reach MASTER you are allowed to SHAPE shots (draw/fade).  it's not like a beginner/hack is going to be able to do that in real life, so if that's a development to come, make players earn that shot by practicing!

    Excellent idea!

Maybe this could be worked-in with the "Experience Level rewards" that were mentioned. It would certainly be an incentive for me to gain more experience.

I can see new "shot shaper clubs" with varying attributes being offered in the pro shop in the near future...

Pillsy...really great idea there. Id love that!

Also your 60 degree wedge flops stop better as well as the 54 floppers.

Man this could go on forever, but I like this newer line of thought.
