  Lol @ the replies & if the term "float a battleship" is relevant to any of them, by all means, insert where needed.  Thanks guys , but, wouldn'cha know, just as things started working again my internet went down for two days. Hopefully, i can pick up where I left off, still got a couple battleships in dry dock.

  i find some of my best rounds come early sunday and monday before i start to partake in what helps get me through this life ...

   Lol , nice tune Filmslayer & I gotta agree, except for me it's Sat & Sun. Pleased to report everything still seems to be working as it was before my ISP crashed (  just carded another 4 under ). One happy camper ! I don't expect every round to be spot on, or to shoot like some kinda "Rainman", but , as the title of this post suggests, I am thrilled to be able to make small advancements & not be stymied at every turn. It sure is nice to see "Stroke" return to the "fun" side of the equation.

  I'll just continue to suck and get what I can from from this addiction. Played one of the best AS games ever tonight at CCC, it went 5 extra holes, great match, great guys, and a hell of a lot of fun. That is why I am sill here. Games like that make it all worth the effort. Hats off to the other 3 players, we had a war. Well played and true WGTers.

  I gotta agree, for all 'roud fun you can't beat "Alt" ! Think the best I've gone is 4 extra holes, and it was a blast ! Tried "stroke" again today, not so good, maybe just a temporary thing, but, I sure hope not.

  update:

  Please disregard my previous comments about "stroke" being fun again as I see it has returned to it's abysmal former state. It was fun while it lasted though, however brief. Who knows, maybe in another 8 months or so, it may be possible to progress again. It's almost like someone threw a switch, oh wait, they did ! I see you "man behind the curtain" ! Score history says it all, just gotta laugh @ WGT "realism" when constant practice results in worse scores. Personally I think your blatant score manipulation sucks and makes for many unhappy campers. Go tell it on Chad's mountain.

  Sweet round buddy, only scored one of those ever.  I've tried different times of day, different days, heck I've even tried playing sober :) The only time I seem to be able to lower my average is when WGT backs off the VEM interferance ( or, it's in that part of the cycle where it just interferes less ). It's frustrating as hell, but, might just as well settle in for a good long ride at TM, as with my limited abilities, I've no doubt I would really suck at Legend.

  keep on keeping on moose ! i was L91 when i made legend , maybe less blaming of VEM ...this morning was stone sober , those 30's from last night blind drunk ... so who knows , any time ya want to tee up let me know ...
