Just viewed his activity, our man loves St Andrews of all places and Bethpage, a legend and only played these two courses.

I'm surprised to find the OP doesn't like St. Andrews.  I'd have thought the Swilcan Bridge would be the perfect place for a troll to hang out.

I lived only a few miles from RSG for 20+ years.  Played there many times and at Princes too many times, one thing i can honestly say is the place is certainly no eye sore.  Now live in London, 15 minutes from the city and am met with eyesores within seconds...

Todays post had me re-reading this thread, there's really good Scots word that fits the OP to a tee.

    From the Urban Dictionary -

    NUMPTY

    Scottish usage:

    a) Someone who (sometimes unwittingly) by speech or action demonstrates a lack of knowledge or misconception of a particular subject or situation to the amusement of others.

    b) A good humoured admonition, a term of endearment

    c) A reckless, absent minded or unwise person
    1) "No. That wisnae wit she meant, ya big numpty!"

i.e. "Silly billy", "You big dafty"

    2) "That numpty's driving with no lights on!"

I have never had the chance to play SA in real life, too far away and not enough money to even dream. Having played it many times on this game, I would give up both squirrel nutz to just see the place, I think of it as a shrine to golf.. The OP needs to take a powder and relax.

I was up there last weekend...for the Dunhill Championship

I'm up there again on Sunday (playing this time) so I'll think of you Ren.

It's not the hardest course....but the course is in fantastic condition and the greens are so smooth.....almost like they've been fired by the breath of angels.

A strange thought occurred to me while I was posting these...I have eaten animals with more intelligence than the OP.
