I am fully acknowledging that I am looking at this through homer glasses but as Tim and Joe said, "intent does not matter in obstruction calls." Hate to see it end that way but no complaining from me. And maybe that was the baseball gods making good for rosin-gate in game 1.

It was clearly obstruction..the first time the 3rd baseman had his legs up was for balance on the flop...the 2nd time was to clearly impede the runner, eff "Tim"...so glad it's his last year...
If anyone watching that game couldn't see that the third baseman tried to slow/halt the runner...they be a nut job, or just a full on Sox fan that can't deal with reality...and why did Buck an MaCarver even bring up "even if not intended-(or similar)", the guy surely tried to trip up the runner.
