Stay! WGT said yesterday they are organizing new WEEKLY tournaments for us. It just happened that they were in the middle of the week. We should see one on Monday. Stick around until then?

I thought Wgt had come good but they have obviously not got it.  A week's dispensation with a club sale with out really addressing the fact that there should be two streams to buy clubs one through Tiers and the other through levels.  The time it takes to progress levels for those who have already progressed is ridiculous. (Well noted buy some especially DDLB who has taken time to observe the way points happen in a round)

It would seem to me that all clubs from a tier and below should be available to your tier.  I dont see many legends complaining.  They through their skill and achievements could have bought every club in the shop and still have stacks of credits and I have no complaints with that.  Those of us who are average and have to work really hard to achieve and have some limitations on the meter through natural reflexes need more consideration and levels does not seem to do that.

T o repeat, sum up: If you can get to  Tier then all clubs should be available form that tier and below.  If you cant progress through the Tiers for whatever reason, which might include skills understanding of the game course managemnt etc, then you can still get decent clubs in due course if you want them through the levels.

P.S. There is also an issue as to whether the basic clubs available at each level should be better.  Some of this is offered but it could probably be improved.

Here is my take on the changes...They really Suck!!!!

Sorry WGT but I think you have done more harm than good and all for the wrong reasons which are very apparent.

First off, I love this game. Period. But you (wgt) should give players ranked as "Legends" either the ability to select tee locations and green speeds when setting up all modes of play for the exception of community tournaments, ready go's, weekly tournaments and such, or give us a driver that can easily hit 300+ yards without the incredibly fast meter.

I purchased the Taylor Made Tri Driver (278 yards) when it was first released but cannot use it. The 3 extra yards isn't worth the increased meter speed. The meter is so unstable that it is very, very hard to stay on the fairway because of all the meter glitches incurred.

Personally, I don't think I should have been ranked as a "Legend" with a 65 average.

Please take us back to where we were before the tier change implementation!!!

I liked being in the Pro category, avg. 67-9, using the basic starter set.  Being moved to the Master tier makes playing any course impossible.  I'm not going to dish out major dollars to play a computer golf game.  It's been fun til now, guess I'll pack it in.  It's not fun anymore.

I want to know why, since I am a new level (20), I don't qualify for the weekly 9 or 18 hole tournaments or the monthly 18 hole tourney. Used to look forward every Monday to the new week. Now it says my current tier I don't . Anyone have ananswer? Thanks

WGT says they're rolling out new tournaments for the new tiers. There is already a new September unlimited for the new tiers, and I expect that on Monday there will be a new weekly unlimited. (The change was made in the middle of this week, so it wouldn't make sense to start a new weekly then.)

I invite you to come play at my level.  I've worked my way up and took a little time off from the game due to having my first child.  I was a pro and had the best equipment I could get as a Pro.  I came back and played a few rounds and next thing I know I'm a Master.  A friend of mine became a master shortly before I took my break and I couldn't wait to go by the driver he had while I was a Pro.  I go to the Proshop and discover that it will take me to L87 to get the driver he has now.  I was put into L30!  The driver I have isn't available till L57!  So I'm stuck playing on this longer holes where I can barely reach par 4's in 2 with Driver and 3 wood.  My driver is only a 255 yard driver, so I'm at a great disadvantage.  Luckily my chipping and putting are pretty strong so I save a lot of pars and knock down a few birds here and there, but the jump in tiers without the ability to equalize my equipment with everyone that had previously bought equipment gives me a huge handicap.  I still enjoy playing my friends, but I won't play in any more tournaments until I can get some competitive equipment.  At the rate I am leveling up at to gain 50 levels that will take about 6 months.

You can go and buy that driver at a discount if you want to. But only until this Friday. I'm still a Pro so can't do that. And I have a worse driver than you. Be warned though, the Master drivers are a lot faster than the Rapture...

WGT balls slow down the swing meter.  I have the Taylor Made R9 Master driver and use the tour GI-S balls, and the swing meter is the same as it was when I was using starter clubs (or pretty close).
