What I've noticed is....  the settings might have to be changed for each course.

Have you messed around with the wind tweak variable between the courses?

    mantis0014:
The Links courses... St.A and Rsg...  the wind on those affects the ball more than the same wind on other courses.....

I've found the St. Courses to be about twice the strength of the other courses.  MIght be due to the wide open spaces!

    mantis0014:
Oly is a totally different subject....lol.

Didn't they name a really bad beer after Oly?  Those three courses are my nemesis.  I think they all hate me!

Thanks for sharing your insights, Roger!

    DaddysKat:
Very nice offer from someone that isn't using the calculator!  Can't really think of any club I need though.

When ever you feel like buying something let me know and I'll gift it to you :)

We seem to be from the same mold, Chris.  I don't need anything but do have several friends on this site that do.  Wanna buy for them?  I tend to at times when I get bored.

I so loved the 12 days of Christmas ... but that's just my nature ... better to give and all.

    Hey all ...

Once again to those of you that wish to obtain a copy of the link to my calculators:

    1. Send me a friend request, after I accept your friend request ...
    2. Message me.  You'll need to go to my profile page to initiate a new message.  The message tab is towards the top of the page.
    3. Once I receive your message, I will send you the link.

There's also another option ... gift me a sleeve of level 81 nikes ... in the message, request the link and I'll send it to you with much gratitude.

Either way works ... commenting on my wall doesn't.  I can't initiate messages to friends above the 255 count, and I don't wish to remove old friends.

Sorry ... hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    Kat ♥

No, I didn't think of that one.  Kept that at 100.  I will check it out, Thx

In my situation... i wouldn't use it all the time for every hole. Beth is my favorite course and I would only use it on holes I have problems with. 3 holes on the front9, 3rd 5th and 7th(pin near bunker) are examples of when I would use it.

I don't always use the approach either ... I am totally reliant on the putting calculator though.  Moderate cross winds, and I'm using the approach calc ... or on those tricky holes.

Play around with that wind tweaker ... It should do the trick.

    Mathia,

I really don't understand why you are having such a difficult time finding the file to download.  I've put up a picture below and circled the image for you to choose.  When you go to the link I sent you, click on the file I've shown below, you will get a message telling you that the file cannot be previewed.  Select the "download" option and the file will be downloaded to your computer.

I really can't make this any simpler.  Can you pm me a screenshot of what you are seeing when you load my link?  Is it different than what I'm showing above (with regards to files, not screen layout)?

I really don't mean to come across condescending.  I'm trying to make this as simple as I can for you and everyone else.  Sorry if I came across that way.

    Hey all,

Had to do a resolution fix to the program.  Several of you were having issues with lower resolution screens when attempting to install an overlay.  This issue has been resolved with version 2.0.0.9.

If you have installed an overlay that came up huge on your screen, you will need to remove the image and reload it.  This is accomplished by clicking on the smaller button towards the top of the overlay screen.  You'll receive a message asking you if you wish to discard the image.  When you reply with "Yes", click the cancel button on the file dialog box.

Afterward, you can reload the image and get it set on your monitor.

Sorry all ... graphics are not my strong suit.

I wish there was a version for IMac.
