  From what I was led to believe since he was as guilty as sin.  Heard that Bob Dylan has stopped playing that song also.  He hasn't performed it live in years. Speaks volumes. Morale of the story, just because a film may be BASED on a TRUE STORY does not mean the story itself is true.  Just sounds better that is all.

  Good Show though.

  Off topic : I would personally be in favour of a death penalty, eye for an eye.

  Hadn't heard he was guilty.Obviously,none of us were there.Why would the authorities let him out if he was guilty?I am from Boston.There was a case involved with the famous Whitey Bulger,where the FBI INTENTIONALLY framed 4 guys onto DEATH ROW to protect their stool pigeon,Bulger.2 of the guys died in prison 30 years later,2 others were released when the evidence of the FBIs misconduct surfaced in the 1990s.The murder happened in 1966.Yes,police and prosecutors intentionally put innocent people onto death row.Google it,it's the Teddy Deegan murder case.It's true,it was front page news here.

  He was a thug and deserved to serve his entire sentence,he was found guilty of attempted murder for beating almost to death the attorney that first tried to get his original murder sentence commuted years before he got out (google it non believers),I feel no pity for him,never have,he got off light

  That would leave the Northern Ireland assembly a tad short of members.
