Will R1 all blck ever be available to everyone who doesn't have 1 to level the playing field

  How can any player complain that the drivers available now are not competitive???

  When we all turned legend a few years ago all we had to use was a 275 yard R9 or the SUPER FAST METER SPEED R9 TRI and the only balls we had were TOUR balls which also made meter fast.

  It makes me chuckle when i see players complain about not being competitive when they have the drivers AND BALLS available now.  Go and play a round or 2 with tour balls and the 275 yard R9 driver from legend tees and then see the difference to what you might be using now.  Spoil t or what...LOL :)

  For once Chris I agree with the above.  

  When I made legend I even went back to the 255 yard Raptor driver as at least I could hit a fairway with it!   The introduction of slow balls and slower clubs with extra distance sure does make this a different game now.

  That's exactly it.

  In an ideal world it should all go back several rungs player wise, but expecting people to wait until L96 (second best IMO) or the R1 at L98 is too imbalanced IMO for what the game now offers is out of balance.  It's natural for people to want, and when they get the R1 they realise it is no game changer (well the few that expected it might be), but L98 is just a bit far up the ladder IMO.  If I were L90 it would be a niggle.

  How is a club that can drive 300+ in almost any winds a peashooter? (SLDR) With L81's or even the Max Pro balls, I can hit 315/325 yds in most conditions. 

  I have no problem playing against the R1, ya it's funny sometimes how out hit you can get, but then that's where the short game comes into play. 

  I find that a lot of people, not that I'm any expert, but that a lot of people don't know how to use the SLDR.

  In an ideal world for me the higher level/distance drivers meter speed should be super fast making It dificult to aim where you want on the fairway, It would make game much more realistic.  if you want to use your 287 yard driver then there's a risk involved.  All drivers below 280 can keep the slower meter so Its up to player what they prefer.  WGT complain that scores are getting too low so they throw in more deviation to off-set this, If drivers had faster meter speed then I'm sure It would add a few strokes to rounds with players landing in rough on a few holes

  And if you really knew me Brian...you'd know that I've bought EVERY driver from level 70 up....guess you're not as sharp as you think you are little man..DUH

  Or that red line.  Up to 90% power say have the forgiveness but risk v reward after that.  I have no clue if flash could cope with that, but seem to remember my  circa 1990 Mega Drive did (long stare through the mists of time there but think it did).  Could do that for all clubs, but no clue if flash could cope as say , and would Nike allow any of this anyway...............

  Sorry guys, I'm not gonna let this turn into another attack thread....I'll pull my dog out of this conversation before it turns nasty.  I did enjoy some of the comments made by other members.  I wont allow myself to be moderated because of an arrogant bully trying to attack me.  Enjoy this thread before it becomes overrun with nasty comments and personal attacks....
