    Play currently in danger of being suspended. Match so far is A/S. Europe up in first match, USA up in 4th. Others A/S. Very early days.

    Weather atrocious and getting worse!

    This is setting up to be  farcial especially if they dont get some weather.  Evidently it has to be finsihed by 6:45 P M wales time on monday regardless of how much play they get in.....

    From Ian Poulter's Twitter:  During the rain delay the World team is playing golf on EA Sports TW2011.  A missed opportunity for WGT?

    Other news, The U.S. rain gear is not so waterproof and the PGA of America went to the RC merchandise tent and bought all new rain gear for the players and caddies.  Players complained about it during practice but nothing was done about it.  That's on Corey......

    well, after a day when the weather was more suited to ducks than golf....heres how it finished!

     

    MATCH 1: Westwood/Kaymer v Mickelson/Johnson: EUR 1 UP thru 12
    MATCH 2: McDowell/McIlroy v Cink/Kuchar: USA 2 UP thru 11
    MATCH 3: Poulter/Fisher v Woods/Stricker: A/S thru 10

    And can you imagine after facing that cozy, delightful weather, not fit for anyone, having to face some of that delightful UK food? I'll pass, both times.

    Who's fault is it that it's being played so late in the season this year? Certainly not the Europeans. And all US food is wonderful eh?
