do you actually think i give a damn about my scores??  LOL, i couldn't really care if i scored 4 rounds of 52 or 4 rounds of 62, i wind all of you up like clockwork and you lot actually think I care about my game/this game/ scores etc etc.

    mkrizan86:
Nah, we all know you don't care about your scores. Those play-by-play last minute qualifiers and a gozzillion RG rounds walkthroughs are the perfect testimonial to that ;-)

LMAO! Hit that nail on the head straight and hard brother.

Moving on from this, I'd like to congratulate my dear friend Dougie (WoodenHands), with whom I played a couple of matches (after a long while) a few days ago. He asked me if I qualified (never tried, not enough time, skill and will on my part). Then modestly said he got lucky in the 1st round with a 59. Now I see he did the same in the 2nd and I bet he'd still say he got lucky. One of the humblest and nicest people I have ever known and I wish he bangs in the same score in the final 2 rounds. Hopefully he'll then realize what our old group knew from the day we met him. He's not just a great guy, he's also damn good when it comes to playing this great game.

Lol , you're far too kind and you're right, I did get lucky.............again!

You taught me pretty much everything I know about this game, so my ocassional rise out of rampant mediocrity is all thanks to you and your unending patience.

Now if I could shoot two more rounds like the first two, I reckon I'd be the happiest (and luckiest) player on here.

Just making it through the qualifiers was good enough for me, I'd never managed before, so regardless of how good or bad I do, I'm happy to have made it this far.

Anyway, good luck to all for the final two rounds and hopefully we all get the rounds we wish for.

I have attempted to hit 52's in the first two round and been terribly disappointed but know that the two 52's I am now going to hit will feel all the better for it.

Go for it, Paul! I'll follow you closely behind. ;)

Well I fell just short of my goal of 53 in the third round. "Missed it by that much" as Maxwell Smart would say.  I struggled mightily to a miserable 67. (Maybe I really am this bad)

However, I now have a new goal: I will post the worst total score to complete all four rounds.

I feel this is a much more reasonable goal than my previous expectations.

I was lucky to qualify, not so lucky in the finals.

Cheers, and best of luck to the superior players in this tournament, which is just about all of you.

But that would mean abandoning our current method of following YOUR lead ... we're not prepared to do that man. No way ... never ... nada ... zilch ... you and Gazz are like founding fathers to us.
