After taking a beating in round 4, I played a couple RG's and actually looked like someone who knew how to play. Isn't that the paradox with this game? When things go south, it can look like I've never played before. Then 10 mins later I play a par 5 RG with med winds and shoot -21, then play the Kiawah RG and shoot a 58 (the greens on this course own me), including a 27 on the back.
I have often wondered when I have an off-the-wall bad round if it is me or the game... the 'VEM' that players talk about. How do you explain an awful round (I am way past getting anxious in the game... every round is the same for me, I don't 'stress' any of them) followed by two excellent (for me) rounds? It is curious. I have always noticed this... when I have a bad round it can often followed by a really good one. I need someone to explain this to me..lol
