been at the John Deere Classic

    while i know its not the biggest tourney on the PGA, its a great time and the gallery is down to earth. been going the last 3 years and if anyone gets a chance to go DO IT! 

     

    heading back tomorrow for the final round. they are murdering that course. i wish i could but i enjoy playing Deere Run.

    SP, I just googled for John Deere and found tractors and farm trucks. Is that right?

    Yes Miffy, that  and a few small garden tractors and lawn mowers. John Deere is the most popular tractors for farmers around here.

    Yes Miffy, that  and a few small garden tractors and lawn mowers. John Deere is the most popular tractors for farmers around here.

    That's fantastic!  Must off been a blast there.  Did you follow any specific group or did you plop down on a specific hole?

    That's fantastic!  Must off been a blast there.  Did you follow any specific group or did you plop down on a specific hole?

    well, shoe, mainly followed the lead group of each day. it was actually pleasant enough this year to walk around....the norm is 95-100 degrees with 90% humidity!

     

    followed Zach Johnson mostly, and followed Stricker quite a bit..(both local boys)
