Watch out for Palemoon.  Not sure if it was just me.  Made Palemoon default and could not undefault it.  Only way was to uninstall and reinstall and say no to default during the installation.  Tried this a couple of different times.  Made no difference if I changed others to default, it would change back on its own to Palemoon.

Acted like it took over the computer as far as the default browser was concerned.  Have not had this problem with any other browser. and I currently have 9 different ones installed.  Palemoon is not 1 of them.

Well, its been my browser of choice for a long time.   I know the browser and how to get the best out of it.

You appeared to take what I said wrong.  I have nothing against the browser.  It is a stripped version of Firefox, and so is Waterfox.  I was only trying to let you know of something I ran into with it.  I haven't had that problem with any other browser that I have installed and made default.

This computer is a cheapo emachines from walmart.  AMD dual core, win7 64bit, 6 gig of DDR2 ram and built in nvidia graphics.  Plays decent and better then an XP machine that I had.

The one behind me is I7 2600k overclocked 10% running 8 gig of DDR3 with nvidia GTX570 display.  Much faster machine, but I don't think WGT is built for yours or my specs.  It does run better, but don't want the junk that WGT will put on it.

This was built for FPS gaming, don't even surf the net with it.  Still a kid at heart.  Will turn 66 in January.

You definitely have a super-computer. I wonder if it is too much computer for this particular game?

It could be that you have a Formula One computer playing a Go-Kart game. I'm not downing the game or WGT at all. I love the game (good and bad).

Also, I don't think using an older version of Flash is "vulnerable" at all. 11, 12, and 13 are as safe as 14. I tend to believe that the "unsafe/vulnerable" tactic is just that, a tactic. Anything we do on the internet is susceptible to attacks. I've gotten more malware from surveys/videos in the last year, than I have had in the last 4-5 years combined. If Adobe Flash was breached, and became a threat to it's users, Adobe would go all out to let all users know. It would be a major deal. Anyway, I hope you've got the problem fixed, and the game is playing normally (if there is a "normal" for the game) for you.

Browsers do, for some reason, work differently on different computers. I have tried PM, Opera, Safari, Chrome (which was good, but I am anti-google anything), Comodo Dragon, and finally settled on Comodo IceDragon. I like Comodo because it is the safest, in my opinion. And, since they are an AV company 1st, they have a super secure browser. But, I'm still using a Go-Kart computer compared to your Formula One pc.

I think we both mis-understood.   All I was conveying, is that I have used this particular browser for a long time.  One of the things I like with this browser is the profile manager.

You can run the same browser, but with three different profiles.  The profile I used on this site, is basic.  No pop-up blocker, ad blocker, etc.

    [target drive]\paff\palemoon.exe -P "WGTram"

Great system!  CPU benchmark ranks at number 111 of 1870 and the video card at 57 of 1022 (where the lower the number the better).

    Hi Andyson,

To look up the rankings, do I just scroll through the results, or is there a faster way? I checked low-end, and couldn't find mine (or maybe over-looked it). Is it possible older cpu's and cards are just not listed?

    Thanks,

    Jay

In the upper right hand corner there is a menu to Select A Page.  Click on it and scroll down to Searchable CPU List.

Ah heck, here's the link to the searchable list.

Afraid to see where my sad cpu and graphics card place in that list :-)
