    cicerosam:

Sigh Mr. Fat Dan. Always a shame when people say something is silly when they in fact look like the silly one -

Looks like that would be your field of expertise after reading your latest post LOL...business surely isn't, you will be back to work at 8am doing whatever it is you do for 45yrs...

I guess you missed the subtlety and nuance of the point of this thread - in that saying something in complaint when you get screwed over isn't silly at all.  I think it's fairly obvious  and to be honest warranted.

WGT should apologize and engage with this customer .

The reality is, they don't owe us sh!t, should be obvious by now! They don't owe him, you, or anyone an apology, just an explanation, which he got...that wasn't enough and I understand that, but I personally think I am better served thanking PL for the 10's and 10's and 10's of thousands of credits I have received, than I would be to cut them off and use my own money for the 5000 I didn't get over the years, some of you prefer an apology I guess...

I mean complaining is good, chasing 120 credits ($1.20 in fake money) for a year, and cutting of your nose to spite your face isn't my idea of a wise decision...at some point you got to say enough, for 120 credits 10 minutes would be the max amount of time i would invest!

Whats the point of saying, "ok, I'm p!ssed so I'm only going to spend my cash for a year, instead of spending 10 times that many earned credits", hows that working so far? Leaving would get you the same result, but at least it would "in fact" hurt them...

5 people probably signed up in the time it took me to write this post, and all of them will be spending money...were not that important dude!

OHHH yeah, the Pet Store scenario is not a skit, actually happened to a friend of mine...another friend owns a strip mall, you should hear about some of the businesses he rented space to...some so bad the City demanded he didn't renew their lease...but like he said, it isn't my fault... it is all about the money, here , there, everywhere, the 60's are gone!

Some people do not have a grasp of what the issues developed into during the course of this thread. I would suggest reading pages 2 and 3 of it to discover them.

It's not a matter of chasing 120 credits from 2 years ago.

It's not "cutting off your nose to spite your face" to demand that WGT operate their business in an ethical manner. It is well within their control to have PL or any other supplier screen out a particular source and simply not offer them to WGT customers. It's quite easy for a company to tell a wholesaler not to automatically ship a brand that is consistently found to be defective or fraudulent. To protect the company and its customers, WGT should have some sort of a tracking system in place to evaluate performance. You can bet that either Peanut Labs already has something in place to protect its customers or they would help WGT develop such a thing.

This thread also developed into a question of WGT management's integrity. A promise was made by management to talk to a fellow employee who knew of one particular survey issue and then respond. That manager then disappeared rather than do what he committed to.

Out of curiosity.. when did you receive that first email?

After I first read this thread, I decided to find the co-owners Twitter and tweeted him about it. Wondering if that had some effect.

I received it on the 7th, right before I posted that I received it.

    WGTdbloshoe:

The gentleman who you originally spoke with is no longer with the company.  There is no way he can personally respond.

Interesting. You got the email right after I tweeted the WGT Co-Owner. He also replied to my tweet with this:

"@iZombiePK sorry that our responses to you have not been satisfactory. We will work with our vendors and hold them accountable."

Maybe he took my slightly immature tweet personally and got some heads rolling. No regrets. Hope some good comes out of it. :)

iZombie - Thank you for what you have done.

I wonder if the co-owner will also hold the employees accountable for their lies. Besides the commitment to check on something and return that wasn't fulfilled by WGTadmin, now we're presented with a new one from WGTdbloshoe.

I can only guess at four reasons for Shoe to say WGTadmin was no longer with the company:

    1. Shoe took it upon himself to lie trying to get me to stop persuing this.

    2. Shoe was asked to lie and did so to try to get me to stop persuing this.

    3. Shoe was ordered to lie and did so to protect his paycheck.

    4. Shoe was told the lie by management and passed it along believing it was the truth at that point, again hoping I would stop persuing this.

I hope that co-owner will actually do something to change whatever culture has led to this type of behavior by the employees. Customers deserve better than this.

I  have received a response. Hopefully things continue to move in a positive direction regarding the surveys.

Still nothing addressing anything regarding the integrity issues within WGT.

I think Icon is smart enough not to get involved in this. We're waiting for explanations/apologies from two different WGT employees; Icon is not going to want to make it three. Especially since the top of the company food chain is probably watching this now.
