    OK one more suggestion....

    Have Tour Masters and Masters play a few holes per round from the champ tees.  This could be all par 3s or however WGT wanted to handle it.  I know it would take some programming but I feel like WGT could program several different combinations for Masters and Tour Masters to make this possible.

    Jake, excellent points.

    WGT said that the ability to swap out irons was a roadmap feature.

    Concerning mixing around the tee boxes a bit, this is already done somewhat in the various tournament setups. Indeed, on some courses (I think Oakmont is like this) the tee box is often essentially one long strip and the teeing ground can be set up anywhere along the way. As a TM, I would welcome an occasional extra distance challenge.

    Shot-shaping is also a roadmap feature, and some of the trickier shots you mention could be melded into that at the top level of the game - recognizing that the best players can pull off shots that lesser mortals are incapable of.

    Nice Jake!!!!

      Case in point, played a tourney last week in real life with greens rolling around 13 the pro said.  I hit a 3 iron from 235 with a 20 mph tail (est.) and it checked up 12 feet from pitch mark.  Green was slightly uphill from fairway and level.  Also made the eagle, YIPPEE

    I had one this one summer, 260 out hit a 3w into mild wind to 3' and tap-in eagle, LOL, it erased the anguish of the previous 2 holes bogeys.  wtf

    Excellant idea Jake at least we know that the answer cant be its a tournament and everyone should play the same tees...

    Not hard at all, tbh...

    if current_hole.par = 3 {
    switch(player.tier) {

    case "Legend": current_hole.teebox = "Championship"; break;
    case "Tour Master": current_hole.teebox = "Championship"; break;
    case "Master": current_hole.teebox = "Championship"; break;
    [and so on...]

    }
    }

    Also, in response to the person that said a 300-yard driver would have TM's screaming about an unfair advantage, such TM's would be wrong.  The disadvantage legends are at is ~35 yards, so it wouldn't completely make up this distance, even though it would be very close on par 4's and par 5's.  Drivers, however, are not used on par 3's, so TM's and M's would still have a huge advantage on par 3's.  (In the rare case that a driver is indeed used by a Legend on a par 3, a 300-yard driver hurts them since you will basically never be able to stop an 80-86% power shot with a 300-yard driver on the green, but you might have a chance with an 88-94% shot with a 275-yard driver.)

    Of course, reality has little effect on the statements of TM's, so I fully believe that they'd claim that legends with 300-yard drivers would have an unfair advantage, but it simply would not be the case.  We'd still be at a disadvantage, but obviously it would be tiny compared to what it is now.

    Jake's suggestions are all sound.  Particularly like the ability to drop a club from the irons.

    Problem...no one is listening at WGT.  No evidence of the contrary for weeks.

    Sad. Sad. Sad.

    Agree with all of jakes post.

    Mix and match clubsets is a MUST HAVE, cmon WGT, give us some features we want instead of *** nobody wants like levels.

    Makes no sense at all that a 3w from light rough carries 60% as far as from the fairway, from Tiger woods, to the 25 handicap at your local muni, nobody in real life sees a 40% drop in carry distance with 3w from light rough.

    Legend driver, sure, but 5-10 yards is the most I'd want to see in distance increase.  I don't need to have equal distances approaches into greens as tour masters, but 1 club less than we currently have would be perfect IMO.   I did a MPC vs a master last night on the back at bethpage,  match comes down to the final hole playing into the wind.  I have a 7i, he has under 100 yards in, boy, sure a lot of skill involved in the outcome of that hole....

    And lastly, fringes, fix them!!!

    Why would they be any more wrong than the Legends are at the moment?  Tiers are supposed to make it harder for the better players.  As I said previously, Legends 7, TMs 3 in recent RGs, can't be that unfair.  Unless you want it so that the Legends still always win in which case why bother with Tiers?

    Golf is about 18 (or 9) holes, not 1. IMO, that fact that it came down to the final hole is an example of the tier system working as intended.

    File an abuse report like I just did for your attack on Andyson.  Maybe you'll learn about constructive criticism again. Better yet, learn what "attack" means.  Follow Zag's advice.  :-)

    Kinda like what you did to me, huh? stick to original post gentlemen.

      so, YJ what's your take on a new legeng driver, Personally I think a driver that goes 185 -195 yds would work, it's easy to see that only having long irons into the greens can make it tedious, but giving it up for automatic birdies doesn't make one bit of sense, realism is the key word here and should not be shoved to the way side by people who are angry because they're no longer shooting a 27 for nine holes or a 60 for eighteen. That, to me, is making a travestry of the game of golf, don't care for that crap one bit! And the trash talk in the forums would get most of you kicked out of any club house on any golf course in the world!  Start acting like adults and maybe someone will take what you say seriously for a change.
