Need more courses

  All started in Oct. 2014, 6 ranked rounds between them & they're asking for more courses? Just messing with the WGT community, can't be serious. 

  Nothing new here, those of us that have been on wgt a while are well acquainted with cheese clan.  Nice to see they are alive and well :)

  Consider the best-case scenario:

  1) Bandon got delayed so they could squeeze in the Valhalla CTTH as they entered into a tie-in with the PGA Championship at the last minute.

  2) While shooting Chambers Bay (this summer/fall b/c of weather reasons) and finishing off Pebble Beach and Bandon, they now (this summer/fall) are also squeezing in stoke-play Whistling Straits to take PGA Championship 2015 to the next level.

  Consequently:

  3) We get Bandon Dune and Pebble Beach sometime this fall/winter, followed by Chambers Bay in spring 2015 for the Virtual US Open in June and Whistling Straits for the Virtual PGA Championship in August 2015.

  That would mean they are not having production problems, just taking more time to meet more ambitious rollout plans.

  So far as I know I am only making up the part about Whistling Straits for 2015, but it would follow from their decision to join up with the PGA at the last minute in 2014.

  As for the Cheeze clan, they were subdividing like amoebas years ago but seemed to have been scotched. Not a pleasant sight to see them returning now. When you thought the place was vermin-free....

  They can't even play the courses we have and they want new ones?

  @ Cheese Clan...do you need to hang a pork chop around that kids neck to get the dog to play with it?  Talk about being born in an ugly tree.

  Three new 18 hole courses are in the works:

  Soon we will get - Bandon Dunes - 18 par 3 holes from the Bandon Dunes Resort golf courses.

  A month or 2 later - Pebble Beach Golf Links - 18 holes for stroke play.

  Chambers Bay - 2015 US Open venue. Look for it about March 1, 2015 for Virtual US Open Qualifying.

  Once WGT visits a course and makes the 200,000 to 300,000 photos they need, it takes an additional 6 months or so to produce the course for play.

   

  Sounds great, looking forward to the new challenges, and until then I'll completely MASTER the courses already available...;-)

  Yea, right, There's a lot to handle already! WGT is on top of it.

  More ambitious than what they did in 2011?  They released 2 and 1/2 full 18 hole courses almost simultaneously.   Congressional AND RSG in June, Cabo (the 1/2 course lol) in May!  Then they did 2nd pins for Oakmont in September.

  They released only ONE course in 2013 Merion in June!  Pebble, theoretically, could have been ready for Christmas '13.  and Pinehurst #2 plus Valhalla in June.  They have serious production problems compared to what they accomplished in 2011.
