Just seen the 2015 virtual tour scheduled, and it seems that we will have a few new courses:

So, Pebble Beach will be launched very soon.

But even more intriguing is the inclusion of Harbour Town and Valhalla. As they aren't any CTTH tournaments, it could be that we will be getting the full course!

    Maybe WGT can confirm this.

    Nice discovery!

But, since PB is named twice, in Feb and Nov, and all the "Classic" courses are only CTTH right now, I'd suspect that "Classic" tourneys will be CTTH and only the November event may be 18 holes.

It would be too much of luck to get full courses of Harbour Town and Valhalla in excess to the announced new courses, Bandon, Pebble, Chambers, all in less than 12 months.

If that is the case, and in order not to raise false expectations, I suggest that WGT should do exactly what it has done last year and include the (CTTH) tag on the names of such tournaments.

Nonetheless, and as I always have said, I am still betting that Pebble Beach full course will be launched next month. Why? Because it makes commercial sense. The real AT&T at Pebble Beach is played in February.

That means PB will have to be released this month, yeah right

Then a total of 4 new courses in a year,  somebody's  on drugs

they surely are not going to have a CTTH for VT comp.

They did last year. The 2014 VT started with Pebble as CCTH.

I agree with alosso [in fact, was busy posting the same thing simultaneously in the 2015 VT thread], it's extremely unlikely they'd use the same course twice in the VT (even something as anticipated as Pebble), so I can only conclude that there's been a delay and that Pebble won't be ready till later in the year.

I fear that Harbor Town and Valhalla's inclusion means a total of 3 CCTH events in the Tour, which devalues it IMO.

    Parallel thinking - LOL!

If I had any hope here, I'd hope that there be no delay in PB 18 holes. But, the best-known event at Pebble is the Pro-Am in February which is covered here by PB Classic. It's hard to think of two parallel PB events at that time...

So I agree, PB 18 may be delayed.

Unless alosso is right and Pebble Beach full course was delayed (looking again at the schedule he probably is), I still think that there is a good chance that Pebble Beach will be launched for february. As I have already said it makes sense to launch it in the same month of the real tournament. Furthermore, it makes no commercial sense to launch Pebble Beach later, and just 2 months after Chambers Bay.

This also would confirm what had already been stated in another thread (by WGTdbloshoe on  08-27-2014 12:08 PM) that:

"Bandon, Pebble, and Chambers are coming in that order.  Not sure how else we can be clearer about it."

And they'd say by the end of the month which could mean January 31st at 11:59:59 pm but in which time zone is the question?  ;-)

LOL. You know there's only 1 time zone that counts and it's 3 hours behind us.  ;-)
