  Can you imagine the R&A having a discussion about where this years Open is to be held the same as Wgt discuss the Virtual Tour venues.

  Lets have it at St Andrews, no lets have it at Royal Troon, no lets have it at St Georges. Shall we have it in June, no lets do it in August....oh feck it lets just do a closest the hole tourney. The players won't mind, we'll sweeten them up with an orange ball. lol

  Well said D. Anyway if its a CTTH following that Bandon Dunes rubbish then i give up i really do. Look WGT if you are going to have 2 rubbish events then spread them out at least. I use the V Tour for club handicap and most if not all hated Dunes, ive promised them it gets better but if its a CTTH i will be cyber lynched.

  I think it would still boil down to whether or not it came with a vapour trail.  I doubt you'd get the top players without at least offering that...  ;-)

  So nothing new till September (Chambers Bay), Pebble Beach almost a year away?  Disappointing to say the least.

  We don't have a exact date.  Next course up will be Chambers Bay for the VUSO.  Things change constantly and there is not a way for us to give a exact date of release.

  Come on shoe, you've stated yourself (in another forum: Don't hold your breath on Pebble Beach) that pebble was next up, ...... no room for misinterpretation.

  Please clarify this massive disappointment!!!

  They probably won't respond GC ... they wish to avoid being embroiled in an arguement (quarrel).

  Oh by the way, the schedule has been amended to show next month's tournament, and it indeed is Pebble Beach CTTH (as I expected) ...

  And still no Virtual Tour championship shown at the end of the year. All the more reason not to compete all year long. No championship to qualify for. 

  And I wonder if they are going to require all tournament winners to twitch a round, or are they going to pick and choose which ones they want? It seems from the tournament rules that people may be required, where the heading for each tournament so far says that tournament winners will twitch a round. These two statements are not contradictory, but I would like to know what's up WGT's sleeve ...

  Yes - very, very disappointing.

  I think one of the most consistent points of feedback on this game is a desire for new courses, and yet there's a completely inscrutable process of adding them (except maybe for the VUSO) that inevitably leads to long delays and little information.

  Since the real US Open starts June 15, 2015 WGT will have to start the VUSO qualifying about May 1. We got Pinehurst #2 April 30, 2014 for VUSO qualifying. The 2014 US Open was June 12-15, 2014.

  I bet the forum moderators are several steps removed from the ultimate decision makers and have zero say if the powers that be decide to postpone releasing a new course.

  I am seriously disappointed to hear we probably will not be getting PBGL until much later in the year. They did the needed photography at PBGL the first couple weeks of May 2014.

  Bandon Dunes took longer than expected too, and I'm not surprised that it seems WGT's agreement with the USGA has priority over their agreement with PBGL.

  Not impressed with anything in the last year or so from WGT. Pins haven't moved on most course, Bandon sucks and nothing new. Time to move on, its been a good run
