just completed the LPGA course again and i never get a better score than -2. I find it insame that the leading score is -15! This is where the game frustrates me as i am almost always on the greens in regulations but cant get these insame scores.

To be honest not in real time are these scores possible so it seems crazy that game after game scores no less than -10 seem to come in on a 18 hole course.

I doubt i will ever get a score like that so it seems reasonable to say that I will never ever get in the money no matter how many times i play.

Obviously this game is easy to some players but it seems unfair that it is a possiblity that these same players are taking the pots and the reasonable players are not getting a look in. Maybe there should be a handicap system like in the real game so it can help the good players that cannot get a score like -15 but may find it possible to get a score like -3 4 or 5.

It would be interesting to see if these players who get these insane scores are actually taking the money game after game. Is there a league where you can see who is taking the prizes after each tourny? I would be very interested to see it.

Its a great game but I would be very reluctant to invest real money knowing i will never win anything. I think for now i will stick to doing surveys to get the credits to buy things.

This is a special tournament but I can assure you, the best players score almost as low from legendary tees. It's all skill in the end.

Just recently a good friend of mine who generally doesn't shoot low, posted very low score in LPGA. So, it's possible, trust me :)

Handicap is not going to solve anything because players will abuse it.

Compare your game stats to the players at the top of the leader board and you will understand how they can shoot what you call insane scores.

The more you play, the better you get. I've played almost 600 ranked rounds, so I don't expect to shoot better than players who have played 2 or 3 times as many rounds as me.

Practice makes perfect, or so they say. Although not sure this game can be perfected ever.

It is not as bad as you think. The qualifiers have really improved my game (on Kiawah atleast). Only the top players can qualify first time. For the rest of us it is possible to shoot incredibly low by playing it many times. After a couple of days of playing I have hit the -8 barrier and the cut is currently -11 which isn't too bad. And as for who is taking the money, there is an earnings leaderboard on the wgt homepage.

The ones who shot the sub 50 rounds are the best of the best and during these special tourney they are always on top. Does that bother me? No because players have put in many many rounds on here learning how to play well. What bothers me are the players who when they can't play as well as the top players think if i can't do it no one can so they must be cheating.Sure some may have much better hand eye coordination than a lot of us but it still takes many rounds to get as good as they are. This tourney is also making me a better player. until recently my best round anywhere had been a -6 66 since the tourney started My best has dropped to a -9 63 @ St.Andrews and -7 65 A Kia a -6 64 @ BPB and a -1 69 @ Oakmont. Still no where near as good as the top players but much better.

To silkyuk9: Let me first say that these scores are possible. What you see a lot is that the tournaments that are "unlimited play" usually have the lowest scores. Some players will continually play a hole until they get a birdie and then move on to the next hole , and so on. As far as the LPGA course is concerned-it's played from forward tees and it is an 'unlimited" play. A very good legend is going to take it low. I have even shot in the low 60's a few times in this tournament.

The single play tournaments are a little different story. You will usually  not see a large number of low scores. This is a better shot if you have a great round. It's the only place I've ever made $. I also think the single play touraments more closely resemble the way golf is really played. I would like to see more single play tournaments.

Finally, these low 60's or 50's scores are played by people who have played 1,0000's of times and more than their stats even show. If you got the time you can do it too.

Rusty, im not really sure i understand what you mean. if im correct you are saying that some players strike the ball and if the ball does not go in the hole for a birdy they quit and start again yes?? Well that means the player is trying to get a birdie on the first, if he gets one he moves on to hole number 2. if no birdie, he quits the game and goes back to hole one and trys again, stays on hole one until a birdie then goes to hole 2, if no birdie first attempt restarts the game and goes back to hole 1, gets a birdie and moves on to hole 2???

This means he can have as many goes on hole 1 until a birdie, but only gets one crack at hole 2, if no birdie restarts hole 1. if this guy is lucky to get a birdie on hole 1 and hole 2 moves to hole 3, however, if no birdie but par stays in the game, however, if no birdie on hole 4 and unlucky to get bogie goes back to hole 1 and starts again??

If you say get a birdie hole 1, but pull the put on hole 2 and know you are going to miss quickly exit the game it makes no difference as the shot is recorded if you join the game again at a later date.

Im confused here with your answer.

No silky in an unlimited tournament when you quit through the menu choosing end round/main menu it is like the round never happened. The only thing that counts when you quit this way are the points you got for hitting the ball for the levels. Then  when you start again you start the whole round over.  It is not like single plays where if you quit it saves the game and you have to restart where you left off. Does that help you understand better.

Rusty is a stick..fact of life...what he means is, what is a person after...each game has a different scope...one can do what they wish with it.

I can tell you this if I don't birdie the first 3 holes in the LPGA tournament, it is not worth my time to continue, my best is a 60, leader is 55. Which means with no eagles, you can miss on one hole.  For me that is likely #4!

    I can't waste time if I don't start -3.

    Cheers,
