    In all honesty my take right or wrong:

    Mods - Do a hard job v well.  They work within confines of course, but within all that work pretty effectively;

    Tech staff - This latest annoyance was solved v well, and explained v well.  Without seeing behind the curtain they are hitting dead lines under immense pressure and doing a great job;

    Where this place falls down is in direction and communication (away from the great explanations by WGTadmin2 this time).  Could be way off but what I see is a sales team gone mad too often throwing the baby out with the bath water.  Focus on some basics (as detailed a zillion times), and carry on with what made this game great.

    In short yes a problem well managed and brilliantly sorted, but so many things for WGT INC (for want of better term as private I know) to get right I can't give more than 5 out 10 overall:)

    EDIT: Anyone at WGT wants to see how to do it, just ask WGTadmin2..Brilliant work.

    JMO

    If this turns out to be a smooth meter for all, then the tech guy's names will be passed down through the ages and become legend.

    What will replace meter threads in the forum? Scary times.

    Perhaps motel recommendations?

    If it turns out to be a smooth meter for all, why did it take the tech guys something like 6 years to figure out how to make that happen?

    If the tech guys are so awesome their names "will be passed down through the ages", Why did we players have to put up with the meter problems added to the game with the last update in the first place?

    Sorry. But IMO WGT technical results still look like amateur golfers that have a bogie handicap (18) hoping to qualify for a US Open.

    If WGT tech can do 5 updates in a row without introducing new problems when they do, they will start to look like they might be able to shoot par.

    Before going overboard - I believe they have corrected the meter issue that they inflicted on us yesterday.

    As for the myriad of other problems - invites etc - not much happening there.

    It's scary smooth, PK.  I'm clicking way early on everything, duck hooking tee shots, etc...  because I.can't.wait.that.long.  lol.   It's so good that I honestly wonder if WGT called in some expert to help them yesterday because there's no way (sorry WGT) the feckless group/person that's been working on the invite issue (for 2 FREAKING months, are you serious?) is the same group/person that put together this new meter.  It's FLAWLESS!  Well done, Mr/Ms Whoever You Are!  Bravo!

    I couldn't agree with you more i have never seen the meter so smooth and a big cahoots to the WGT staff for fixing it. That being said after reading posts by other members (which I thought were quite mean spirited) you have to wonder if most of the WGT staff are social workers or teckies. Again hats off to WGT staff.
