  OK, I've heard back from both Wes and Mati, and great news, they both would like to play a singles match.

  I want to get the matches played in the next few days (by Thursday ideally).

  So, we're looking for volunteers to play an extra singles match at times that overlap their respective availability:

  Can anyone on the ROW team play against Wes in his availability window of 22:00 UTC (3pm WGT time) to 03:00 UTC (8pm WGT time) Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu this week?

  Best candidates with possible time overlap are: Daskino, and outside chance, Joe, Jorg, Marc (late night for all of them!), and perhaps Carlo (pierolitfiba) with his non-specific availability on the chart.

  I'd prefer that myself and Jure (mkrizan86) not play an extra game as we've already gotten an extra team match.

  Can anyone on the USA team play against Mati in her availability window of 07:00 UTC (midnight WGT time) to 20:00 UTC (1pm WGT time) Tue, Wed, or Thu this week?

  Best candidates with possible time overlap are: mmyers0, philbrown4, DaveDwingdale, and ab1983.

  I'd prefer that Russ not play an extra game as he has already gotten an extra team match. And if mm wants to and can play, that would be ideal as he has played fewer matches than others on the team.

  As I said you in PM, you can count me in. The only condition is the tee time at my midnight, 'cos I couldn't handle a later matchplay with alarm clock set at 7 AM. :)

  Thanks mm. I've sent PMs to Phil, Dave, and Ab to see if any of them are interested in the extra match against Mati.

  Hopefully we can get these games wrapped up soon and be able to declare a "famous victory" for the ROW team!

  Edit: just heard back from Phil, and he can play today if that works for Mati. The overlap availability window is until 1pm WGT time (ie. the next 5hrs). Please PM each other or use the thread here to set it up, and let us know what's happening. Thanks!

  Thanks Corwyn for finding another player that i could play. Thanks to Phil for giving me a chance to play.

  Anyway...Phil was just to good today and on 18th i had to surrender. To be fair...my putting was great and normally the match would have been over a long time before.

  So a well deserved win for Phil! Congrats!

  There is a change to the USA Team: mmyers0 will be replacing papagrasutu with the match still being played as scheduled above.

  papagrasutu is suddenly not available and probably not available through this coming weekend.

  Very sad to hear about these personal circumstances Paul, and of course we understand the situation. You will be missed! But mm is an excellent sub for Team USA to have on hand. Thanks for stepping in for another game mm... just know that you don't have to play as well as you did tonight!  .

  Played my singles match with Lou, thnx Lou for playing and staying up late to do so, much appreciated my friend.....Lou and I had a blast playing our match was back and forth for a bit with both of us just missing on alot of our putts, difference in the match was that Lou was able to sink some of those on the back 9 and i was not. Lou thanks again you are a true gentlemen my friend

  Congratulations Phil (philbrown4) on a very nice win over a very good player.

  Also thank you to all the players for working to get all the matches played in a reasonable time. It takes a good deal of commitment from the players to make Corwyn's tournaments run so smoothly.

  And a big congratulations to the ROW Team on very convincing win. Wish we could have made it more exciting near the end. We will get you next time!  ;)

  Lastly, thank you to Corwyn for organizing/running another very fun and successful tournament.

  I was a real pleasure to play with Wes: we're WGT friends for a long time, but unfortunately we couldn't play together so far due to our time zones.

  So I was very happy to help him with his matchplay @ Chambers. The match was close and enjoyable and we laughs quite all the time (in a starter gears event, you have to). I went to bed with a big smile - not for the win in itself, you know - and with some more starter gears experience :)

  Tnx again for the very kind words (you're a real gentleman too), my friend. I hope we'll play together again very soon.
