    PaulTon:

That ranking list is a load of keich,  ( pronounced key + ch ,as in loch, with that Scottish ch as if yer clearing yer throat)

CC XP and passes is a load of jobby.

WGT's CC clashes (super passes, say what??) are a load of toley.

There are other Scots words for it, probably more than the innuits have for snow.

Any person or club who thinks topping that list gives them some kind of kudos in the wider wgt community is an idiot and gets pointed and laughed at.

I can't tell you what I really think, ^^^  that's me being very, very kind.

I'd like to know Grande Oaks "completion rate", please sir.  Feel free to let it rip right here in the forum.  I have no shame as i'd love to dust off some of our dead weight.  Career earnings be damned.  I think that's a joke too.  Some of the "top clubs" having people with high earnings that haven't played in 1, 2 or 3 years.   Some of the players... maybe the group wants to remain loyal to them (deaths, etc...) but deep down I have to think it's just a vanity play by them. Or atleast some of the stagmant players being allowed to remain on the rosters, should I say.  Not all of them.

I'll be happy to calculate this for yea m8! just give me a day or two, loved your fecking picture I really made me PMSL..... thanks or that!

Since I pretty much never do stroke, my CC tournament completion rate would be close to 0 as well.  I prefer to play CC matches, CC alt shot, inter-CC match challenges, etc.

I think it's pretty naive to believe that there's only one reason to join a CC.

Really? I think it's even more naive to believe that almost 80% of people join ANY country club real or virtual who would agree with your preference to skip Club tournaments.

Nothing wrong with joining a club to play with friends and always having plenty of them green.

Top clubs run just fine, and don't have time for your sour grapes.

Not sure what your point is here ?

Aspirations vary around here.  Chasing XPs to a huge "top of tree" extent is not the interest of very many, but those that want to fine.  Those that play more A/S (whatever) than actual club tourneys is also fine.  Some set up CCs to bang red tees all days, and also fine................

I don't think clubs should be getting extra meaningful benefits for  doing that XP chasing game as that would change the game.  OK WGT would if they could, but that's a big call on a golf site to change  a big aim from being a good TL to setting up a club to chase XPs..............Be a huge change in structure, and most just turn up for a bit of fun anyway..........

Some float their boats by winning loads (because they can and want to spend the time), some  bang red tees for sub 50 averages, a few want to really chase XPs and most here for fun.  CCs here reflect all that........

Dunno what the point is either, all I know is when I see one or more of the 47 members in my club green, I am pretty sure a game invite will always be accepted.

We have a small club that remains around 25 members,  lots of tourneys and CC vs. CC and we struggle to get 65% participation.   Some guys have no idea what it means to be a club member.   I guess I try and pattern it too much like real life and forget this is just a game.  We have a lot to offer and many just show up when the wife says they can...hehe.

Some guys just change their lives or get new tasks in their jobs or...

Nobody can expect that anybody has the same interest in the game for more than a day or a week.

Limiting the White Rabbits CC by language, I once was glad to accept the request of any guy with the right flags. There were plenty of inactive players from three years to replace, but about 120 entries later nothing has really changed: Many inactive players...

I learned that many of the Hacks and Amateurs would only play for a day or a week before turning away from the game. One guy even has NOT played a single game since he joined the CC.

I leave them in because I like to have a big CC, but I refuse entry for Amateurs and Hacks most of the time now. Instead, I propose that they become Pros and apply again. Unfortunately, most of them find another CC instead.
