l joined a very large club  Recently close on 250 members Tourny Participations was 10, For one Tourny 7and 8 for a couple others and the old Faithful Draw St andrews close on 30, and l was told by the Owner on joining  to be a good member and use my club pass to Earn the club xp.

When a Very Average player like me figures in the top 10 Tourny of a Large club then it does not say much for Said club,Started my own club just me in it,  occasionaly l set up a Tournament to play conditions l feel like on the day.

l Recently Started playing  Match/play A/S Blitz occasional  dont care about Averages anymore  just here for the fun now.

Think personal attacks are growing here, now you can always click on clubs and their tournies (in green) before you decide, nobody twists arms.

Have a feeling its WGT and their top 10 clubs (XP use), that is wrong. I have not seen any of the top clubs on these forums shouting "we are the best" from the rooftops.

Anyway its a good job cos we are pmsl ;-)

    Lets all be friends lol

Opening this back up as sick of seeing owners bleat on about size of membership on club corner, when if you click on a tourny of theres (easy to do and i advise all those looking to join a club do it), the activity is ridiculously low.

Each to their own yeah yeah yeah but false advertising is a no no no no

Now click on my advert and yes theres some small entries (i cater for all tastes) but a lot of my main events have 80 to 90% activity. 26 outa 30 is better than 15 outa over 200.

I wannnnnnnna prize, 3 white mice any colour ya like, 10ft snakes all sizes, roll up roll up.

Gard damn it wife, wheres the JD

Eh, we do that in clubs as well, its not just tournies pfft

Plus very strange considering you own a club, and with you being the only member in it you actually play club comps you set "on your own".

    Just saying

Yup formed my own club just to get the Free Meter Pals, and l have set the odd Tourny being it was a Novelty at first,

Got nothing against the Idea of being a Club Member  lm sure there are some good ones out there if l could find one that hosted A/S Match/Play Tournies l would be knocking on their Door

You May have noticed the Tournies were called the SAP open, SAP gremlin Hunt Because you got to be a SAP to play and be the only one in theTourny Meant to be a Joke

                                                        Regards

No bother mate, each to their own, all different clubs on here. Some like club comp activity, some cc v cc, some alt shot leagues, some have big hitting RG members and some lucky booger has the lot lol

Thats why i think folk should find out this stuff before joining a club, that was all my rant was about, good luck to ya, and above all enjoy

im new to this ,however ,i believe that once you join a group or club ,you should remain devoted to that club.in the long run that club will excel above the rest because only the devoted will remain.

    There must be a great many singular mental fantasy visions of what a CC should look, feel and be like. Mine is private. I don't know the members, I don't play with the members. If they want to play, dandy. If they never play, groovy. If a member wants a certain course set-up a certain way, cool...Done. If a stranger wants to be a member, "click" they are in...I don't look at their profile, I don't care what their tier or average is. What is the future of it ? I never think about it...don't care. Why ? It's private  ;-}

Yip, thats about it, each to their own, i was only ranting as owners expressing how many members they have above activity is not what i agree with, if folk want to join for numbers then thats great but if they want activity, they may join then regret it.  Truthful adverts i suppose (with a little bit of glitz PMSL)

So as per original post from Tux, i feel and said it on here before WGT have got an XP epidemic on their hands, but they will love that.

I was guilty of that as i set away 2 month ago and wanted level 6, not much more to gain after that, so asked members to click yes, may as well they gotta click summit anyway ;-)

    Have fun all
