agreed - it is now highly likely to be 56

LOL...No sense, complete farce, detrimental to the game and no $s as every badge chaser meets up at Andys F9 with starter balls loaded................

Love to be a fly on the wall when New Ideas sit down for a meeting, just sad that a fly would double the IQ in the room.

EDIT: That's a flippant thing to say I know.  I don't wish to be rude WGT but I do strongly disagree that dumbing it down so much is good in the long run.

Score history has 196 of the 200 rounds.

Average of those 196 was 56.91.

Average displayed by WGT after making Champion Tier 55.94.

Other than the 200 rounds needed apparently works; it is hard to get any meaningful data from that when the last 2 rounds are 62 and 66.

Per his status page,  Champion was reached at exactly 200 RR with a 55.94...so the required average could still be above 56.

His might not be a good benchmark because he was already 56.73  (?) on the July TL list.

I think all the courses give you the Diamond course award for shooting a 57, I doubt it would be lower than that....

The only people reaching champion should matter to are the ones who will most likely be invited to Tour Champion status...like former US Open winners, money list leaders, Major winners etc....the "red" tees might get you to Champion but they won't help you reach the pinnacle ....

Yep, to reach that, you're gonna need these...

    We now have two.

The red tee Champs are lining up.

What a farce! Even more so now than before, if that's even possible.

Well early doors WGT are looking well out of pocket giving that 250 credits away for the ahem, "prestige"  of reaching the exalted height of Chump.

Do New Ideas actually find their way in to work in the morning on their own ?

I see again no reason for the new tiers...prestige? my ash...we all TL's one day will be champion anyways no matter how good or bad you are...it is just a matter of time.

Champion tee is suppose to be a very skilled player that plays from the tips but certainly it is not that way at all.

WGT should have never allowed to use easy tees...and that is why all the farce including the averages under 49.

A Champion Tour running for a couple of months with single play and tough conditions wold have been a FAIR way to obtain the Champion status...yes only the very best would have made it.

Not to be hard on the already champions but stats always say to me who is GREAT and who is average, although playing together with them confirms their skills too.

Too late to fix anything. WGT shows again that profit is main priority & that FAIR competition is a thing ONLY we players, think about once in a while.

edit...saturation?...why saturating averages?...ohh yes, I remember now, WGT fantastic idea of keeping you thinking you are awesomely good : )))
