Just a question..Why should anyone care about what tourney's are held in another CC?  I've set up short tee tourney's in our CC before.. so what?  I'll play whatever i want to play whenever i want to play and whatever conditions i want to play at the time.

    Rock

No problem with that at all.  I play red tees, mixed tees and champ tees.  I play the red tees to break the monotony and work on my short game.  I think the biggest problem people have with red tees is that they count towards tier advancement.  Personally I do not think they should but is what is.

The fun thing about AS is that you have to play from the back tees and it becomes painfully obvious who belongs there and who doesn't.  :-)

Yup, but if they're your partner, you get to see some views you haven't had before!   ;o)

I play an alternate with a  "champion" one day with way better average than mine it's was awfull

All his approach finish into the rough or on the green but too short or too long for a 50 feets putts and when he putt he pass the hole by 20 feets and say his meter is bad

Yes logical a bad meter make you pass the  hole from 20 feets by another 20 feets on green...

    lol

Same thing happened to me...I am an average legend player (68.72)..but I had a Champion tier as a partner one time, and I'm certain I could have beaten him in a head to head match...Rare FW with the drive, he didn't hit an approach shot within 20 ft and he couldn't make a putt over 6 ft.  He made no complaints about meters or anything, he just flat out didn't play well.

Why do you guys talk about me, like I'm not even here? :)

Much easier to talk about you behind your back that way....but then again, I've played with you...and talking s**t about you is just as much fun in front of your back as well....

I know what goes on in my CC .

    OK fine.  Thanks for that.

It appears hardly a day goes by in VOTSCC without a red tee tournament available.

I am gonna say that there wasn't even 1 per week up until this last week or two . You found one in Sept , Oct , And a few in Nov .

Heh, I never said it was the complete list.  I found more than a few in Nov.

I can now say for certain, a day in October & November did not go by in VOTSRTCC without a red tee tournament available.  And many days had 3 or 4 easy tee tournaments available.

Less than1 per week is wrong.  You had 41 easy tee tournaments in Nov & Oct  Paul!

    pdb1:
Every one of your assertions have been wrong .....In October there were about 65 . 3 of them were easy tees .

Right on the 65 in October.

Wrong on the 3 of them were easy tees.  19 easy tees tournaments in Oct. Paul!

The CC Activities list is very helpful as it has a entry for every CC tournament created.  And a click takes you to the tournament description!

Here's a list of all the VOTSCC easy tee tournaments in Nov. and October.  I'm solid on those two months.  I threw in some partial data from September and August to show this is not a new phenomena.

A total of 57 easy tee tournaments. 22 in Nov and 19 in Oct!

Excluded from the list are tournaments that said default tees of course, and those where the description wasn't specific enough to say it was an easy tee.  All CC Bracket tournaments were also excluded because most just said "Have fun".  (Although I understand it is possible to have red tees in Bracket tournaments.)  That accounts for most of the difference between the 65 October total and 19 Easy in October there's a few CTTH tournaments too.  Use scroll bar on the right ___V

....  Ranked red tee tournaments are the biggest detriment to the validity of the higher tiers.

I'd say the as far as lack of validity goes.... Having and playing under the exact same conditions as being a TL, and in some cases easier sort of blows away any validity for wearing that name tag with Champ scribbled on it.

I mean why did Champs get low wind in the Leadbetter Event? That seems a little absurd to me if you're using the same clubs with the same specs.. Shouldn't it get tougher?
