What a thoughtful idea. Thank you steelsings. I commend you for taking your time to put this together and to give us all a clear view of the lives that have been affected by such a senseless, cold blooded crime. This also brings to light how quickly ALL our lives can completely change direction in a millisecond. TY again Steelsings…edge

    Richard4168:

Is this what radical Conservatives are going to resort too when the opposing party in the United States Congress doesn't agree with their agenda?

That ding-dong Sarah Palin should be cited for bringing attention to the Arizona Congress-woman in the November 2010 election by placing cross-hairs on the names of Democratic candidates who was viewed as a threat to the Conservative Tea-party.

Read the full story from Yahoo news here.

Our thoughts and prayers certainly go out to the victims and their families of what IMO is an absolute senseless, and cowardly act.

You think the democrats, including our dear President Obummer, don't use military terminology when discussing election strategy???   It was a cowardly and offensive act, and you sir are stupid and offensive.

It's really sad, but lately whenever some nut case decides to lash out at society there is always someone to blame other than the perpetrator. We make choices. Choices are not made for us. If heated figurative speech is taken as a literal sanction then we are dealing with some ignorant listeners. You silence democracy and then you have something else.

What exactly is it that I made up, tiffer?  This is WWII 101.

"Had Hitler put as much effort and resources into invading the UK as he did the Soviet Union, it would have happened.  Period."

Charle what you have repeatedly failed to grasp is that Hitler could not put the same resources into Operation Sea Lion that he did in Barbarossa. As I have already pointed out to you, tanks and other armoured vehicles cannot drive across the English Channel. If you think invading an island without air and naval superiority is on a par with charging into a vast country with thousands of tanks etc, you are mistaken.

Happy to help you out on this one though :^)

Had Hitler wanted to invade the UK, he would've, of course, adjusted his strategy and built more transports.

Also, Dunkirk serves as a great example of how what little would have been left of the RAF during such an invasion could not have stopped the ground invasion.  If the Luftwaffe could only inflict minor damage on the 340,000 troops and ships evacuating Dunkirk, what chance would the RAF have of inflicting any significant damage on the 4,000,000 troops of Barbarossa?  None!

It's just a real shame you weren't minister for war in the 3rd Reich Charle, you'd have taken the heat off Goering and his ridiculous promises, lol....
