just an observation......the golden putter doesn't make the putts for you....you still have to putt accordingly.....I've seen gold putters miss many times....and that makes it laughable....LMAO !!!  Love beating the gold putters!

A curiosity: is it possible to sell the Martian Putter?

No. One of the owners confirmed it earlier.

This is because it's in the "CC Rewards" section, and only "Clubs" may be resold.

That doesn't mean the CC owner (clash winner) can't privately "sell" the gold putter to a generous donor in his CC.....

How about the idea you can still play Without Passes.

That goes against everything why and reason the Clash was created. They (WGT) created the Clash for this main reason - to lure players / members into purchasing a pass/passes to continue to play and "compete" LMAO,,, after playing 1 free round. Smart but money grabbing.

It surely IS NOT competition. Golf competition takes skill, talent and score. This thing WGT created called the CC Clash takes absolutely NONE of the above.

This (whatever it is) takes participation from as many members possible and those members continually purchasing club passes and continually playing the same event over and over and ya know what - you will never lose,,,PERIOD.

    SKILL - TALENT - EXPERIENCE - ,,,LOL,,,I think NOT!

The club owner decides which member the putter goes to, so could in theory "sell" it.

My "premise" since you like that word....was it gets old lining their pockets with ball and pass money for little or no rewards not to mention the fact you need time to prepare for a competition....especially if you a small club like ours...its no good to have it just happen with no warning.

    vandasey:

With all due respect Tamsach, no BS has come from us.

There has been a lot thrown at us, case and point by you saying our numbers are 'suspect'. We have a membership of which about 237 have played at least 1 round in the past  24 hours. We have high numbers in the Clash and the Weekly XP for this very reason... people in our club actually play consistantly.

Time for some facts as clearly opinions don't get considered here. The weekly; based on above 237 players participation every day = 208,560 points minimum. Thats based on 237 members simply using their 880 point consecutive daily play bonus. Thats not even considering the points for the round, or awards or anything else. If you look at our weekly so far we are on 1,223,000 - after 5 days (rounding it based on where the weekly is at the moment) using my calculation above of only considering our daily contant play of 880 points per member we should be on 1,042,800. That leaves us with a shortfall of only 178,000 which is easily made up once you consider I score on average 1300-1400 per day by using my free pass on my first round during an 18 hole tournament. If the 237 in our club did the same as me and scored 1300 points per day by only using the free pass we would be on 1,543,750 points by now. Thats how we get high scores, consistant playing. Some play less (like me), some play more (like many of our Champion players for example) but it all evens itself out in the wash.

So, there are some facts for you. You can try and pick it apart if you wish, but the facts are the facts. Now if you can stop questioning why we have a 'suspiciously high' XP number.

The matter was yr expensive partecipation at something useless like the Clashes WGT offer to us, not yr daily playing in general. You can play as much as you want, I don't care. Anyway, when you'll win the 251st Clash, just call me, I'm willing to have the Martian putter too! Byeeeee

P.S.: just for the records, we are now playing vs you and it's the second time during this event. You are leading 9,000 to 3,000 and yr best point producer is

He played 12 time the BoP5  and he's still playing another round now. (Last clash played 26 time Pinehurst!!!!) As you can see his career earnings is poor for a Legend and everybody knows that playing many different courses is the right way for improving our skills. So? What does it mean? That there are players (all in yr club, it seems) that waste money for nothing, keeping WGT with the idea that these Clashes are a gr8 success!! Well done folks... This is the matter.
P.S.: 13 now and still playing when there are only 15 minutes to the end and you are leading by 6,000 points the Clash and by 40,000 points the Event....... omg

Well, you can imagine everything I already know the degree of lowness of a human being, but for a virtual object I had ever seen.

Except for God, Allah, Vishnu and --other guys.

But for a virtual putter steel made supposed golden plated  it's new.

This player is buying a lot of club passes just to play, not to mention going through a lot of ball usage.

How does a club decide fairly who gets the "fancy" putter?
