Praise for Pebble

  I want to thank and praise WGT and New York Life for bringing us the Pebble Beach Golf Links, one of the greatest golf courses in the world, to actually play.  The addition of stroke play at Pebble Beach is tremendous and has immediately become the course I want to play almost every time I come to WGT.

  The course is fun to play and the views are magnificent.  I am hoping it will not be too long before WGT is able to work up the second nine holes for play as well.  Here is two fist pumps to WGT and New York Life for bringing us Pebble Beach to enjoy.

  I agree, the much anticipated roll out of Pebble is a fantastic addition to WGT, well done. A couple things I have noticed are that most holes tend to play longer than stated club distances ( heavier sea side air ?), and the green breaks most often require moving the aim marker as opposed to "off ding" putting, which is more challenging for me. All in all, thumbs up on Pebble, with a little work, I should be under par shortly.

  Yep, as a critic of WGT at times, praise is due when it is deserved.

  Personally I find the yardages pretty accurate but agree, above the hole or to the side of the holes usually leaves a nasty fast slider (moral of that is ball placement - next I need to develop that skill!)

  What would make this course ideal, is the ability to finish it in a multi-player round........without someone being booted for 3 strikes..

  Indeed, WGT should be praised for launching Pebble Beach, 9 months late and half a course short. They are a trustworthy and quality game producer. In San Francisco, between California St, and Market St, they can undoubtedly be counted as one of the best in the business.

  This is a special course and the 9 month overdue wait was worth it.  Great job WGT,  the views are nothing short of breathtaking.  The back 9 is anticipated more than any other course that has been placed here.   I know that 9 will be  magnificent.
