    Hello WGT

    I am Yancy

Back in the before times, I noticed that the clock on the St. Andrews tower on #18 was displayables different times and whatnot each time a feller played thru.

Since then I have been fascinatable regarding clocks on the WGT courses and such.

Now - I done played the front nine of the Oakmont Congressional Country Club and spotted a clock on #9 when I was putting out and the likes.

As the pics below show - I was not playing me best but as a common man I am not a quitter. As I 3-putted this hole - the clock changed on me from when my golf ball first arrived on that green and such. Whats of the most interestable here is that it only changed like 4 minutes which was about how long I was all up on that green doin me putts and whatnots.

Today - I will be a playin the whole course - makin screen captures again. My hopin is about that this clock might also be seeable from hole #18?

    Sincerely, Yancy

    The Common Man Country Club

You're on to something Yancy!  There is definitely something strangeable with that clock.

    Hmmmm.

Im feeling light-headed and whatnot. Might sit down fer a spell.

But I have this lingering question - why are all the flagpoles at Oakmont Congressional Country Club not having the flags what should be on them and such?

Sincerely, Yancy - The Common Man Country Club

Well after I took me a nap fer a nice spell - I went back out on the Oakmont to see that clock on #9 - I learned before my nap that the clock doesnt appear on #18.

More random times - both on same visit:

People - we may have some sort of time-portal thinkamajig going on in that little white building that clock is upon. Further tests and algorithyms from Medford Mel will hopefully tell us all what we must now.

Now I am your regular old common man type of feller and such - but I am truly fascinated by the clouds in the sky on these screen captures. Maybe the answer is in the skies above us. I cannot say - mostly.

The common answer is that those aren't flagpoles - they indicate the location of the green for blind approach shots.

And here's a puzzle for you, Yancy: Spot the blue port-a-potty at Oakmont.

Hint: it is way out of bounds.
