    YancyCan:
I done played the front nine of the Oakmont Congressional Country Club and spotted a clock on #9

Yancy, there is yet another clock visible from the 9th green. It is probably the master starter's clock, up on a post, over by the 1st tee.

When I landed on the 9th green this morning, the clock on the lil' white shed seemed to say 10 am (or 11:50, depending on the hands), as in your photog. Then, when I was holing out, the other clock over by the 1st seemed to say 7:45 (or 9:30, depending). In other words, time moved backward! (Or else I stared at that break all night.)

    zagraniczniak:

And here's a puzzle for you, Yancy: Spot the blue port-a-potty at Oakmont.

Hint: it is way out of bounds.

What were you doing 'way out of bounds'???

Well, obviously, firing up some illegals. A balm to the nerves of the common man golfer. Helps "read the break" in life.

    (Virtually, of course.)

    Intriguable.

I will be looking fer this said portables-a-potty today on Oakmont. I have noticed two other interesting things what be all up on this course and such.

No cars in parking lots..........not one.

On the first hole there is a GOLD painted house on yer right and whatnots.

See fer yourself though - I am just a common man.

Well, Yancy, your Oakmont Country Club is a pretty hoity-toity outfit, they don't take all that kindly to the common man, they frown on toking in the porta-potty and whatnot. Just over the crest of that photo you added, beyond the 2nd green, is the dinky little clubhouse of the real common man's golf course. No doubt you've found the proximity of that shaggy layout just over the fence to be one of life's imponderables. Turns out it's called the Oakmont East Golf Course, a public outfit. You look at it from the air (http://www.worldgolf.com/courses/usa/pennsylvania/oakmont/oakmont-east-golf-course-public.html) and you can see that it sure disproves one very, very old theory about the world: The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Not that fence anyway, and not that grass.

Now things are starting to make more sense and whatnots regarding this. Using map software and Medford Mel's "WGT Integrated Assist Plug-In", this feller was able to go take a peek around said fence.

Now this common man has seen a lot of unusuals on these courses - but what we found across the street from Oakmont is of the highly unusuals - I do not know what to make of this at this time:

    Mr Yancy

You know everyone thinks you're respectables and such, and your investigatables are without whatnots or even bedknobs, but following your recent sightings I decided to do my own investigatables.  I writ Mr Googlie and asked for photographicals of the regional around the not-so-common Oakmont Country Club, and in particulies the gold house.

The first photographical is a blimp view of the area which I am sure you can verificate such:

I then asked for another photographical at street levelings and this is what I saw.  Please make sure you are seated as this could shock any common man:

That gold house is nothing more than a yellow sign.

Mr Yancy, we all know you have done much travelators in recent times and maybe you have not had much sleepness and whatnot.  And sleepnessless leads to illusionables and whatnots and such.  I can only be apologisable if these revelationaries have shocked you, but every common man must have his rest - just ask SM, he sleeps on the job!  Then you come back 100% refreshables and continue your investigatories.

I'm sorry for being the bearer of bad news.  But look on the twinkling bright side - another solving puzzled.
