I sit and read the forums3 to 4 times a week. Everyone is wanting this and that. Sure, we all have great ideas to make the game more interesting. But, with this update and that update that WGT tries to give us, we now have more problems playing the game. When, I first started playing, we could play a complete alt. game with no problems. Now ur lucky to be able to either get off the 1st tee without 3-6 disconnects or finish the game with disco's.. There you go everyone is mad about Blue screens, white screens, not being to connect back to the game. I am not defending WGt, but I am saying , people give them a chance to fix what we have at the moment, so we can play the game without all the problems. Then ,maybe WGt can give us some new courses and some of the things we want to do for the Country Clubs tournaments etc. There are some out there whose gonna jump on this and tell me, I don't know what i am talking about. that fine go ahead. But there are a lot of older players on here who know what i am talking about. We used to be able to play the games with no problems. GIVEM a chance to fix the problems without all the Bitching

OK...WGT has been given plenty of time to fix the current issues. How long does it take a team of IT guys to de-bug code, or effect repairs to a server?...months?, years?..that's how long some of these glitches have been around.

Many of these glitches do occur after updates, but nobody has asked for the updates they are providing. The pro shop stocked with more low level drivers?, or back ground noises voiced by a commentator who has never played golf?. These are the glitch filled things WGT keeps adding as updates...not what the players ask for. Avatars for players from France have been requested for 3 years...still none. WGT instead stocked the pro shop with more crap balls of varying logos that no one will buy.

The updates that WGT keeps thinking up and implementing, are clearly not tested before implementation. This results in the Mods going on an apology tour and providing us with yet more work-arounds.

I agree the updates should stop until the glitches are fixed, but you are preaching to the choir. Your post should be directed at the IT shop.

It may be less likely that TOPGOLF made it worse, it was just WGT usual decline.

Given that, it may be more likely that WGT made TOPGOLF worse.

Is this an updated light bulb joke?

This isn't the first thread where the OP has suggested we just need to give WGT  "more time" and be patient.. As many already know, some of these glitches have been around for many months or even years...they are simply not going to be fixed, no matter how much time is afforded to WGT. I think it's a matter of $$.

When I was serving in the military, we often needed to develop detailed contingency plans in the inevitable case that Plan A failed...this was an extremely difficult task as we were coordinating the manpower, equipment, transportation, timings, rations...list was endless. We were given 30 days to produce a workable, cohesive plan....30 days.

I can't fathom how some of these long standing glitches cannot be repaired if the will is there to do it. I highly doubt people asking for things, which they never get, is the reason repairs aren't implemented. A well meaning, but naive post by the OP.

CT, I totally agree with you on the problems that we,ve had over the years. some which I assume could be fixed. But a lot of the fixes would have to be written into the programs of the games. So, if they done that how long would that game be down to have the fix written into the program. If they could fix the problems, I wouldn't mind if WGT shutdn for a week or so to fix all the problems. would be great. Give my trigger finger a rest.

The funny thing is, almost all of the new " features" and equipment, and their resulting "bugs" had nothing to do with what people asked for, just what WGT wanted to cram down our throats.

    This^^   :)

Odd question from a lvl 87 Master who has been playing over 4 years on here. If the putting distance is beyond the range of your meter setting, select a higher setting and take some off the stroke..it will take practice to find your touch with any club when in-between range settings.

How do you even have a 30 ft putt on a 25 ft green?
