Well we had a chance at pegging The Georgian back in clash 3#, but to no avail, i know its easy for a few to knock this competition by simply saying that you can BUY your way through , i disagree, especially when it comes from guys that do not play in the comp ?.

Here is a few stats that you can ponder over,

    AMIGOS;  41 PLAYED (184 MEMBERS) 21% = 7,714 POINTS.

    Georgian;  70 PLAYED (245 MEMBERS) 28% =  12,747 POINTS

In my humble opinion it is all about how many members you can get to use their FREE PASS and nothing whatsoever to do with the negative posts that some frequent users of this forum voice an uneducated opinion.

Look you like it and fair enough.

    1. It's about frequency though, and passes can and do make a difference often.

    2. It almost deletes skill completely.  Some main supporters of it are handing in a good quantity of shockingly terrible scores.

The prize is a gold putter that keeps a poor putter, well, poor.

Some want to call that a competition, even burn good balls after it,  good on em.

Most CCs treat it as a joke waiting for a punchline.  Frustrations happen because people feel more (maybe separately) should be possible.  My opinion.

Each to his own, the decision to play in a Clash can't be critizised. But, an uneducated calc shows that the average points per member are just above 180 for both teams (188 and 182 resp.). You might show an uneducated man like me how they should achieve this from one game with one free pass each, plus a few Super Passes between them?

I'd think of an average of 60 points per game (more for skilled players, but less for lower tiers), so it looks like an average of about two extra passes used by each player, at 37 cr each. And, once you start buying them, you'd have to wait too long for the next free one and have to rely on pass purchases entirely.

The uneducated man is still waiting for an objective answer as to what are the benefits of winning an Event and, more so, of running in second?

Says the man who bought a pass on 3-24 and apparently played 14 Clash games in - guestimated - six Clashes. Are you using up the Super Passes?

One of your members (with 1M+ CC XPs) shows 25 actions of buying and gifting passes and speed boosts on the first Clash day. I count five purchase & gift actions for another guy, out of three samples. And still, you are way off any chance to win.

Please tell an uneducated man, how does it work with free passes? Aren't you trying to hide the truth here?

    Edit:

Another uneducated calculation shows that 200 members playing free passes in 10 Clashes each (sleep: yes, work: no!) and achieving 50 points in average would be able to collect 100,000 points in an event, which might bring the win and the Golden Calf to one of them. At a rate of 25 events per year it would take eight years to furnish each of them equally with a mediocre putter.

so many comments I could make but so little space.

before that. yes I play in the clashes ..reason I do is so many of my club members do without being forced I am the owner I think I have a responsibility to lead and show club members that we (as in directors ) see this participation albeit a silly one for a prize that bluntly sux. it also does show that as a club which does not require members or demand anything from our members has members that take a pride in their club.

    there is a club........

red tee tournaments 16 out of 18

    brags best club on wgt

great players averages 51 to 53 in their mind all games played of red tees ...hence the average

buy tons of passes for whoever begs for them

one member spends 50 dollars gifting passes alone if your that stupid glad your not in my cc if you were send the fifty to me I would buy beer and piss it up a wall same result.

just saying lol have proof btw.......................

Well we await the science from the esteemed lecturer with baited breath.........Or did someone point and poke their own eye out?  No pun intended on the putting ability of most with the gold wand:)

Still only deals with half of it, but would be a start.

Convincing others that "winning" that nonsense is an achievement will be v well played, and we await the revelations.
