I'm no Legend, and it will be quite a long time before I arrive there, but this should have been a Legend only club in my opinion. This was WGT's opportunity to make some things right with the Legend populous, and chose not to do so.
I understand that limiting a quality product to such a select few is not a good way to run a business, but things need to be made right some how. Not to mention that a 282 yard driver, coupled with Calloway balls equals 310+ yard drives on a regular basis. This is fine if you are sitting at the Legend tees, but it will be the Tour Pros taking advantage of it and driving nearly every other green.
Really, I have no idea where WGT can go from here, as anything larger will just make a mockery of the game and they will have players shooting 27 and 55 every day. 2-3 Eagles per round will become the new standard.
I'm not going to lie, I'm going to buy it when I get there. It has the same meter speed as my G10, hits 12 yard longer, and the precision to forgiveness factor is crazy. Combine that with the high trajectory to help clear bunkers and hazards, and I would be an idiot not to snatch it up. I know that my competition is going to.
