What?  I have absolutely NO idea what your post means, savealot3!  Can you please explain (in English)?

If you want to join a CC on the rise it would have to be "the Sons of Liberty".

As a level nine club we finished in the last clash at # 13....we are tight and focused and a team....not just a group...and support all members no matter what level...come join us...

Why not "focus" on your own advert thread, instead of hijacking this one?

Edit: 193 members...military units as large aren't even that tight...methinks you are predisposed to embellishment, good sir.

Michael, you may not be aware, but what you are doing is against the guidelines set by WGT for "Country Club Corner."  If you want to tell people about your CC, create your own CC thread here (and don't recruit for your CC on ours or anyone else's CC thread).

LOL Tam!  I was thinking the exact same thing when I read the savealot post! I spent at least 5 minutes trying to figure out who he might be talking to and what in the world he meant!!!   :)

      OMG I don't want to . But where do I start ?

The below is completely false . WGT has no position on this subject . There are no restrictions on advertising a CC . It is freedom of speech in this free enterprise country . Wgt has never taken a stand and said otherwise .

Hey Paul, what happened to your resolve that you wrote just yesterday, "I will stay out of this thread..."?  That sure didn't last long!  And you are incorrect about WGT having no position on this subject.  Read the initial introduction of the "Country Club Forum" by WGT when this column began in 2010.  Here is the "rules" section (look at the 3rd one, in particular):

    ·         Country Club Corner Forum Rules:

o    Please keep yourself limited to one thread per CC or per person looking to join a club so you do not flood the forum with your advertisements.

o    If you already have a post advertising your CC then you need to BUMP your old thread. Do not start a new thread. Duplicate CC threads will either be merged together or deleted entirely.

o    Advertising your CC in someone else's thread is a no-no and will cause your post to be split off or deleted entirely. Please respect other player's threads and stay out of them if they do not concern you.

    BabeLincoln:
And why is that, Paul (that our CC shouldn't be in the main forum)?  Like your CC  (or any others) has more reason to have a place in this forum?  And your immature comments on this thread with no basis whatsoever (i.e: you never did mention the "many clubs" that get more participation and "have way more giveaways"...relative to the size of the CC....than ours does) as you claimed, is very telling.  Several in our club have asked you to share after you posted that nonsense and you just went silent.

This will be hopefully the last time I come here . Providing you do not provoke me .

My personal comments about participation and give aways were based on what i know about other CC's . Not my own . My comments were to inform . Since the poster was obviously clueless . Boasting that there were no other CC's as generous as yours . Lol . There happen to be many that are more generous . There are many that have 5 times the participation that yours have .

If comments like that are going to be made in your thread in the main forum . You must expect there to be other comments and opinions .

Sorry but that is impossible . What likely happened is that I missed it . Just like i still don't know what you are referring to . But unwilling to respond is not even possible . The same thing just happened in another thread . I just didn't keep up and missed a couple pages of BS and got accused of ducking the question . Lol . I made up for it . Believe me .

Paul, when you write stuff like this, you only make you (and your CC) look bad.  What several of us have asked you repeatedly after your claims (like you made AGAIN above), is "If there are so many CC's as you say that 'have way more participation'. than we have..and that are 'way more generous' than ours' is... to PLEASE name a few (or at least one)!

And don't call a CC that might get 125 playing in a CC tournament all the time as "having 5X the participation as we get"!   Although I know about none of them that do that (including CC's with 250 members), I suppose there might be a few who accomplish that.  But take the number of members and the PERCENTAGE of them playing in the CC tournaments.  We often get 100%....and 85% for one of our stroke play tournaments is actually a poor turnout for us.

As far as giveaways, do the same.  This year we will total over $1,000.00 (with over $300 in one tournament alone) in giveaways.  That is for a CC with 25 members (and just about every member wins something because many of these giveaways are for random participants and not just the winners!  If there are any CC's who did the same this year, I'd like to hear about them.  I suppose there could be.  But again, the real question is, "How many members do they have?"  If the answer is 250, for example, then they woud have to give $10,000.00 away in a calendar year to compare to Guys and Dolls' generosity.

I think a little gratitude should be sent Paul's way for enabling you folks to prove you actually know the rules (at his expense).

...best I could do for you, Paul.:)

ps: Paul's freedom of speech assertion is also incorrect. WGT is a privately owned business, and it alone decides what is allowed. This is why folks get sent to the penalty box for "over exercising" their 1st amendment rights..
