  We at Southern England Links have a lot of top class events and are a level 19 club, a lot of work goes into running the club and we are forever adapting to change and moving the club forward. We have an end product to all comps that are played.

  Over a third of our members are from USA/Canada. Just over a third from UK and the rest from around the globe.

  The club has a diverse mix of nationalities, so do not let our club name fool you. In fact we pride ourselves on the various countries represented by our members.

  Here are the key competitions....

  Strokeplay League

  Three week season with 4 Divisions and 22 members in each . Plus a 5th Division feeder league where all new members will be first put, so they can work their way up the divisions through our promotions and relegations.

  Taste of activity, and this

  Cups

  These cups are doubled up with all our league games, so two for one. Along with your league fixture, you also have a cup game attached. These cups are for Legends and above and TMs and below, so all tiers can compete and win something.

  Order of Merit

  Each Tour lasts 3 months, various events set each week, running alongside our weekly league fixtures. Points awarded for all finishing positions.

  Rankings

  All our events, you earn ranking points, these rankings are used for members to be seeded in all our cups.

  Inter CC

  We have a 40 plus strong team, playing vert regular against other CC`s and we also run an in house ranking competition using a league ladder format.

  Many more activities within the club, such as Double Elimination Matchplay, small credit league and brackets, shot of the month competitions and much much more.

  We also have a fantastic sponsorship thread, which we use as our "bank", members donate sleeves to be given out in a lot of our comps. All tiers can win these donated sleeves as we award to winner, top TL, to L all the way down to Masters and below.

  An excellent format to which all members  participate and 1 that all clubs would be well advised to follow. The members we have been involved with are, as i have been told just wonderful people.  I do wish that all clubs follow this concept to the best of there ability.  It does show an enormous comittment by the Club members and officals to  complete this task and I truely commend one and all invloved.

  You forgot to mention something .....

  That is, that none of your 133 members have been poached from other clubs.

  That says a lot - so keep up the good work mate.

  Thanks for those kind words Pete and Adam, it does take a high level of commitment but the activity and friendly banter makes it worthwhile.

  And Willie, lol, yeah mate.......it has been tried as you will know, but attempt failed. ;-)

  Level 18 club now, which is a great achievement as we cap membership to around 130 to 140 members. This is one of the reasons why. It shows activity in club is top class, and thats only one of our events this week, the others have the same high level of activity.

  We never ask folk to buy passes, so the high XPs in club are just off one daily pass, and we never ask folk to play the clash......Kepp your credits for balls and equipment is what we say.

  The earlier post shows the fantastic competitions we have. A new league starts next week, as does our Summer Tour........Nows the time to join if you wish.

  After our statto week last week which had around 100 members playing each event, we now have our Endurance week, 17 x 9 hole tournaments with order of merit points awarded at end of the grueling event, which finalises our SPRING TOUR.

  So next week its new league season and the start of our SUMMER TOUR.

  We have had a few members join last few days and they have jumped straight into our competition.

  New league season starts next week along with our new Summer Tour. Few spaces left. We normally cap at 140 but will take more if keen to join the club

  Summer Tour and leagues/cups only in first week, so nows the best time to join folks.

  We have had quite a few lower tiers join us in the past week or so, which is great.

  So pro or above are welcome 

  Must log onto website to get full benefit of the club, as all our chat, leagues, cups and much much more are on there
