  Cheers for those kind words chaps.

  I did bump explaining our new 3 week, 21 match league season was starting this week, well this weeks 7 fixtures have been very well supported.

  League fix 2

  The other 6 fixtures are the same.........and we have the weekend for folks to play them yet

  We had 103 play one of our fixtures last season, and feel we are heading to beat that.

  So if its activity you want,  a great bit of website forum banter and some fantastic events ran by dedicated folk, then look no further

  With our Inter cc team existing of over 40 members, we have just finished 2 matches which ran consecutively.

  We also run an in house league ladders competition for our inter cc squad to keep us honed to matchplay.

  Anyone wishing to join, then please read all the threads on this advert.........plenty of information for you..........not just a "bump" ;-)

  Summer Major

  With a day to go in 1st round we have had over 70 members play the Summer Major with some outstanding scores in the easiest of the 4 rounds (no red tees though, just calm conditions)

  Along with around 100 members playing league games, it shows that the activity in club comps here is second to none.

  Makes all the hard work organising worth while, top players are coming to the club often and are really enjoying the battle to be number one in our Order of Merit and to top the Premier league table.

  We have a lot of comps for lower tiers to compete with one another, so if you Pro or above then see 1st page on this advert, sign up for website, then an invite will follow

  Hi all.

  Being a new guy at this club i feel i have to say on here how wonderful it is always lots going on with various competitions alway going on.

  You are made to feel welcome from day 1 via website & shout box (which btw is always active) so your pretty much guaranteed to be able to speak to someone for advice or general chit-chat.

  There websites are a fantastic tool to use with tips on there aswell with a lot of hard work put into sites & organisation is 2nd to none.

  Very friendly member's always available for help/advice/game.

  So come on over to SEL i dont think you would regret it, i haven't.

  Having played many diferent online and mobile games in my time I have a lot of experiance of Clans and clubs but after approx 2 months here at SEL I am still completely taken aback by the commitment of all the leadership, the quality of the website and forums is exceptional and the complexity of the clubs events and competitions exceed most actually golf clubs, 

  I'm still way out of my league as far as quality of play but yet still motivated to keep going and trying to get better 

  so if your looking for a very active club who will help and encourage you to improve then this is the home for you.  

  If your looking for a club where you are not challenged then perhaps not :-)

  The SEL Autumn Double Elimination Matchplay Championships starts this weekend.  50 entrants so far with some great prizes on offer.  The sign up deadline is Sunday night when the draw takes place live on our chatbox.

  It's just one of a whole host of competitions on offer here.  We have a SCHEDULE for our structured tour and a whole variety of other events available.

  New 3 week, 21 fixture strokeplay league has just started.

  Last 4 weeks of our Summer Tour...........then Autumn Tour (yes, already pfft) will begin.

  Club make up.

  Pros  3

  All pro and above are welcome, must join website (see 1st page for details), and must play min 2 club comps per week.  Which aint bad considering we have around 30 per week set up.

  Sponsorship.

  Members have donated over 100 sleeves in prize money and over 10, 000 credits up to now and we still have plenty left in the SEL "Bank"......no, not the WGT one which we await, but our own ;-)

  Myself and a Director oversee the spreadsheet, adding sponsorships and deciding events that are to be sponsored.

  Almost every event, we award the winner, runner up, top TL, top L, and top TM or below. Thus making sure all tiers can win prizes.

  Another Director also runs a small credit league,  each week he runs two 9 hole comps and an 18 hole comp, Points are awarded for finishing positions and twice per month an event winner again receives a sleeve of balls. So approx 30 sleeves have been awarded there also.

  Many posts on here to help you decide, i dont just "bump", but prefer to give you as much info as you need.

  I will add, we DO NOT use red tees, and we use various winds and green speeds in all our comps
